It started less than a week ago. No recent updates and the only app I installed recently is Kodi, so I could watch Marty's streams I uninstalled that, cleared the caches of the apps that don't work, cleared the system cache, did something I googled called "wiping cache partition", but nothing

My next step may be factory reset.

Nope. I switched to Pixel 2XL after a few years with Samsung. Pretty happy with the switch too.

The Honor 10 has some great reviews and seems to be well priced. The xiaomi m1 8 lite sound interesting though.

you could get them for the same price? the honor 10 is an obvious choice in that case. my main concerns with the 10: no oled, no ip rating, meh fingerprint sensor (you might wanna read about it or try it before buying, it's sluggish af) and the custom operating system is not everyone's cup of tea. a solid phone nonetheless.

I am just glad that the times of having to pay over 600+ euros for a good phone are gone.

A friend of mine bought a Samsung A50 for 250 euros, Xiaomi note 7 pro was even cheaper.

amazing

software/navigation through OS is quick as hell, no llags or freezes or anything yet
display is crisp and bright with high resolution, I run it on mid brightness now even on sunny days
camera looks good however I'm not much of an instagrammer so barely use the camera
battery is average I guess but you can get away with charging only every 2-3 days if you have to
