I mostly focus on the processor and camera quality, so I would say any phone with a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor is a great choice.
Valid point.
I hate those websites and YouTubers who biasedly rate their favorite phones. Just want to grab money and gain views. What I need is discover a trusted and knowledgeable person (not someone who just wants to advocate for a brand or takind side of a smartphone in particular) to provide accurate info on phones through testing them directly and share the results.
a glance at Snapdragon test.

With the camera, I'd check the blind test, comparing mobile phone photos without knowing which photo was taken from which phone's camera and finally checking the results to see which images received the most votes. I think camera is the most important thing and normally people spend a lot of money on it, to me I love shooting street photography scenes, at this point almost all phones in the same range would offer that to me and if i want a phone with high quility camera i think i should go for flagships.

I've used Sony phones exclusively for the past 20 years. Their hardware is excellent and reliable, but I'm leaving because of really poor software support. Also, others really refresh the UI so phones feel new, but not Sony. Personally I go for a flagship or even a year old flagship because you know that the processor will handle major updates without issue. An older flagship camera will always be better than any new midrange phone too. Because I have a laptop with me all the time, I prefer small flagship phones. Right now a 512gb Galaxy S25 is around £750 on Amazon, which is already more capable than the new Pixel 10 Pro. I'll probably pull the trigger once I see the new Oneplus since most of the Chinese phones will be similar in terms of internals.

Blind test? Is it a website? I am interested in knowing how the camera of the latest red magic phone (10 Pro+?) fares to other good phones.

Few years back when I was a phone enthusiast I usually load GSMarena and check the renew and analysis that was provided, test blind conducted yearly that they have stopped since 2015. This site give the option of the test but i don't know how reliable are the data and results.
