BTW, who else hates that alarm icon in the notifications bar, on Gingerbread? That is down right ugly, looks like it was made in Paint. Horrible, looked much sleeker in Froyo.

By the way, I was looking for phones today and got my hands on the ZTE Blade, pretty nice device and I am really considering it now. I want to see what HTC has up their sleeves first though.

What have you tried so far? Tried holding down Vol. Down+Power?

Yeah tried vol up + power and also vol down + power. Tried everything from a few secs to 30+ secs. I've also removed the battery prior to this (+30 secs).

It gets to the green android logo but it's supposed to stop there. Instead it just progresses through...
