By waiting it out we have slipped out the CL places and it looks extremely unlikely we'll get back in.

If Agnelli is leaving, it doesn't mean we should stop making decisions. Even if it is to put Tudor in place for the rest of the season.
It still does not make sense as there is a lot of money being risked. In fact, it is no longer a risk, it's lost.
I agree.
It's just that I don't understand what's going on. There must be a reason why Pirlo is still here.

We go to EL and ditch CR7 and dybala.
More like CR7 ditches us, because, if we do qualify there is a chance that he stays.
Full reconstruction in the summer.

The downside would be him staying in the EL which would cripple us financially but he has too much of an ego to agree to play in the EL.

I wouldn’t mind losing a Scudetto. It was to be expected with a inexperienced coach and so many young players.

His inability to adapt and change his ideas made me lose all faith. Really can’t believe how a former midfielder continues with this midfield. No game plan, no motivation, just impossible to find something positive.

If we ended 3th and we had a least a good fight until the end, with using some more youngsters and a tactic that fits this team id already be happy. There would be something to build up on from next season.

Right now everyone is chocking; the players, the board and the coach. Our financial state will be fucked up without the CL, but maybe that reset button is something we need.

Di Marzio :

Pirlo will not be sacked. He will stay at Juve until the end of season !!
Yep. If they didn’t sack him after the Porto and Benevento games, they weren’t going to sack him now.

It’ll be confirmed after the season is over. Which is about 6 months too late. But whatever, this club ceased being serious years ago.

There was nothin g to build on from the very beginning. How can you build with someone who had no coaching license when he was hired.

If we went for a young coach who achieved something impressive with a smaller side - I could understand this sentiment.

AA has proven he understands very little about football - he needs someone like Marotta to make those decisions.

Maybe Agnelli doesn't want to make any decision right now because he's going to be replaced himself? Seems like they're just waiting it out.
:agree:

Elkann at the game last night was a very telling sign imo. Heads will roll for sure. Shareholders meeting is coming up on the 23rd of May I believe. Wouldn’t shock me if Agnelli resigns. Paratici and Pirlo will be torpedoed out of the club without a shadow of a doubt too.

Yeah but not in that sense imo. It was an act of support towards AA if anything. Tici, Neddy and Pirlo are out for sure.

If we really miss out on CL football we’re back to 2011/2012. Remember when we couldn’t sign any major names because we weren’t attractive enough and had to rely on the Quagliarellas of the world? That’s us again.
