Old Juve, few years ago pulled it off, actually against Bayern of all teams. But you never really want to get into this situation and Juve of old, rarely was. I prefer 2-0, in a controlled game. We dont need to envy Bayern, we just need to get our mentality back.
Even old Juve could not pull it off easily and such effort can more be seen in Europe rather than Serie A. I always admire teams that don't give up 90 minutes, even when they lose. Our side, however, quite often starts trying when we are winning, let alone losing.

We need to build a new indentity along with a new mentality. I'd want a part of our old mentality back and a part of our old identity back. I want teams to fear when they play against us, I want them to shit their pants like they used to. Clubs used to hate drawing Juve, despite us being financially weaker, because they knew we'd be hard to beat. We won't see that with Pirlo. I'm sick of reading comments how we should give Pirlo a shot after HIS decisions during the summer window. No thanks, I'd rather start off with guaranteed quality and build on that, rather than listening to plans and vision of someone who has zero capacity of coaching.

I always mentioned and I always will mention Conte. Remember how we were shit in the past? When Conte arrived right from the start you could see players hungry for points, hungry for victory. Nowadays you don't even see them hungry, like they filled their stomach with 2kg of pasta before the match, so carbs killed their desire to move.

But yeah, if there's one club to admire at, imo it's Bayern, and we should learn something there.

Yeah they totally called us out on the Ronaldo transfer given his age. They were proven right. The one key difference though is Bayern has a lot more success buying from the weaker teams in the league. For Juventus we will get quotes prices of like €60M for prime Candreva.

That's the thing. It's not about paying 60mln for Candreva. It's buying Candreva.

Other clubs also overpay in their league, just look in England what's going on. I don't mind us buying overpriced Berna, Arthur, Bentancur, Ramsey, Kulu. I don't mind... as long as they perform. And it's where the issue is. It's not just us spending fortune, it's us spending fortune on players who are not even good enough.

People should be held responsible for their action. Paratici should be blamed for the team he assembled and he should be fired.

Like I said before, I don't think it's Ronaldo's fault. It's us having horrible transfer policy. We fell from Pirlo, Vidal, Pogba, Pjanic and Marchisio to Can, Matuidi, Khedira, and later to Arthur, Bentancur, Rabiot and Ramsey. That's not Ronaldo's fault, nor because of that transfer, but because our incompetent management had 90mln on their disposal once we bought Higuain.

I don't think buying Ronaldo was bad. It was bad that we spent huge amount of money on players that are not even bench material.

You are contradicting yourself. Yes, we have always had never die attitude and that is what set us apart from most of other clubs. Juventus is synonym for grit and determination. This is embedded deep into this club. For a century we have kept winning trophies, because mentally and technically we have been far superior than oppositions. That being said every club goes through few rough years, I believe this is our 'dark' period.

Sorry, but I find someone envious of other clubs accomplishments cringe. You take it to another level though by actually neglecting our past or diminishing it in a very disrespectful way and then admiring current top European side, gloating actually. There is nothing wrong with respecting Bayern but I dont and will never want Juventus to look up to Bayern. Juventus just needs to get back to being Juventus again and Andrea Agnelli should sit down and ponder what his uncle and father would have done in current situation. The solution is a simple one.

We're a club with most lost finals in the history of football. We're a synonym for choking when matters and that needs to be fix, and no, I don't want that part of mentality back like you do.

Our whole team should sit and watch Bayern play.

Our management should watch how Bayern moves during transfers.

Our coach should watch Bayern to see how they play.

We look totally clueless in all fields.
They should watch how Juventus played under Allegri and under Lippi.

They should watch how Juventus moved during transfers under Marotta and under Moggi.

Better yet, we should desperately beg Allegri and Marotta to return.

We won't bring them back and that is why you can look at others and learn something since we obviously can't learn anything from our failures.

Firstly Agnelli needs to be humble admit he made mistake in sacking Allegri and stop this attacking football philosophy without having the right players and patience

The team has no balance and clearly the players dont understand his hybrid formation. instead of adjusting his formation/tactics, he just insists on doing the same shit week after week despite there has been close to zero progress.. A pragmatic (real) coach would have adjusted and changed to a more simple formation/tactics, and adjusted the system to the strengths of his current players.
had we realized this some months ago and changed coach, I think we still would have had a shoot at the title, and been playing CL. Our team have some obviously weaknesses, but we are not that bad. And this team is good enough to at least compete for the title in a very mediocre serie A, and good enough to beat fucking Porto.

I loved Pirlo the player, but I just want to forget Pirlo the coach..

:(

We brought back Lippi, and if Nedved doesn’t get that stupid yellow, we win 2003 CL because of it.

Agnelli needs to grow some balls and bring back Allegri to finish the job. There isn’t another coach available that’s even close to his level.
