I feel sorry for him .... he is under so much pressure from everyone ...and he is still new to this
I know all that but it's time for a little less forgiveness...Talking about error changing the game?? forget the error, where in the F is the organisation without the ball? Zero shape. On attack the man insists on playing a system he lacks technical players for spec with Artur out..got no plan B always the same "style" If this was a real opponent or hell if we happened to play first leg at home wed be f ed already..
that second goal they scored never seen that kind of shit against a Juve defence and I mean since before zebina era..

Should have started Morata. His finishing is poor right now, but his passing is great and we create far more when he’s on the pitch. He’s also been assisting goals lots.

We had zero ideas in attack for the 60 minutes before he came on. It was embarrassing.
Benching one of the finest CHL strikers we have for a player who last year played for Parma (Kulu) in one of the most important games is plain amateurish. On the other hand his defensive ‘organization’ is on another whole level.

In both goal incidents, we don't see our CBs in front of the goal. They drifted on a side. IMO, for the second goal, other players could have closed the winger down so De Ligt could focus on their attacker.

While I agree that Sandro and others gifted that winger too much space, de Ligt should've focused on either one of them, either close down the winger and block the pass or man mark the striker. He decided to do neither, which is baffling, usually he's very good in these brief 2v1 moments.

What i mainly blame Pirlo for last night is him again not adapting by choosing to insist on this bs tactic playing it from the back when you don't have the right players to do it, when Arthur, Cuadrado and Bonucci are there it does maybe make more sense doing it but when you don't have the right personnel just cut the crap and hoof it up while preparing to be first to every second ball which obviously didn't happen. Well... i guess to be expected from a rookie manager afterall, not much more to it tbh.

I still however think we can turn it around in the second leg, i'm expecting both him and the players to have learned a valuable lesson from this one, games like this can get even more tricky very quick as we've seen last night, i know it's going to nonetheless depend a lot on who we'll have available that day aswell though but all in all we should be able to handle this Porto side that has nothing special about it.

He again said it in post match, something like because there was an error doesnt mean my system is not effective..so another words no matter what players are available, this is my system..that is the main sentence that made me lose my cool with him like wtf did you just say at this level?

@ 1:20 great question, laughable answer like gtfo

He definitely needs to get his act together, he talks about being flexible but has to be way more flexible than this and got to be willing to adapt accordingly.

he is not able to get bentancur or rabiot to perform.

these two were doing fine under sarri even if it was for half seasons, and bentancur was fine under allegri.

a better coach would squeeze more out of these two. fire pirlo before it's too late. we can still salvage a comeback and make CL spot this season.

I don't like the jinx trolling done around here, even more so when it's wrong and somehow gets to involve me.

How did you get a jinx out of me contradicting a guy who been saying we are already knocked out is beyond me.

The main issue for me is the manner of progress first and the place on the table second. Even if we led the table by 1 We still look ugly and unpromising..Pirlo needs help needs to text Lippi for ideas early in the morning and would get 5 alternate approaches from him before he was done pissing and flushing the toilet

Any coach that is brought in will massively disappoint with this squad, I don't care who it is. The midfield is arguably the most important part of the modern game, we do not have one and haven't for years now. For years now, all any opposing team would need to do is press us and they stand a great chance of winning. This has been the story under three different coaches now, and we've faced humiliating losses under them all. You want to fix the real problem? Aim higher.

it depends. If Zidane is coming or not.
But still even if Zizou isn't coming any manager would be a massive upgrade over him.
It's like when we appointed Ciro Ferrara trying to emulate Barca with Guardiola... no experience at all.
Sorry can't do at this lvl mate! He needs some years under his belt before managing Juventus.
We can't fail a league with the number of players we have.
So you think its Zidane or bust?
The thing that bothers me the most about Pirlo is that he is just too focused on possession that he forgets that winning games is more connected to creating chances than to possession.
Im not saying we shouldnt play possession football , Im saying it worth nothing if we dont create
