I just don't think we're "sacrificing" a season for the sake of rebuild, that doesn't make sense from Juve's perspective and isn't necessary. Number of new players isn't that diff compared to other seasons, just that focus is on younger ones.

Major diff will be in the number of past expiry date players who'll leave.

I'll take athleticism over experience every day of the week. And it's not as if there won't still be several veterans on the team.

You can't get give aging players their athleticism back, but you sure as hell can teach young players more easily than giving older players their physical attributes back.

I agree there. Youngsters with a point to prove vs older players regressing. No brainer.

I definitely disagree with the Serie A part. It should be absolutely made a given and 10 in a row should be a big objective. I see no reason why it shouldn't be even with rejuvenating the midfield. And if anything, team is going to improve.

I think Kulu will start unless there is another unexpected signing up top. Rumors earlier of Chiesa, so I guess those two would compete but I doubt we go after him.

If we sign Zaniolo, then 4312 then I can see him behind the front 2 and Kulu would be benched.

Can't Kulu play as a CM too? Maybe there is a plan for that

They have won so many trophies and just don't have the motivation anymore. They just show up on game day and aimlessly run around and kick the ball around. I'm not worried about how much Juve will spend. Every summer this club is spending big despite the perception that club is somehow broke. Biggest concern is gutting the squad of those players and replacing them with hungry young talent.

Who cares about age anymore anyway. We were just beat by a team of young players or nobodies. Half the squad is utter dogshit, mostly players in their prime or older. Who cares? Give Tonali the 21 and plop his ass in front of the defense every match, it can’t get worse than playing fucking Khedira and Bernardski.

I also think that Arthur and Demiral should be starters.

A new RB and a new winger, preferably on the young side (Unless we get someone like Aouar for the midfield instead of another winger), and we are off to a really, really good start to rejuvenating this squad.

Managerial experience is important, especially for coaches who didn't play at the top level.
But what about the experience you get while playing under top top managers? Our 96-97 teams have produced a ton of coaches, and they all attribute playing under Lippi as a huge contributor to their success. Pirlo has played under Ancelotti, Trappatoni, Conte, Allegri and Lippi. I wouldn't have gone for Pirlo myself, it's a huge gamble, but he may not be as green as most people are making him out to be.

Interestingly there will be quite a few coaches from Ancelotti's Milan coaching in Serie A next season. Gattuso with Napoli, Pirlo with Juve, Pippo with Benevento and possibly even Nesta if Frosinone make it from the playoffs.

I see the same attitude in Rugani, Higuain, Bernardeschi, Matuidi, and Alex Sandro. Also in De Sciglio and Costa in the rare occasions when they are actually fit and available. The club better be working on gutting the squad of these players right now.

What I am saying is that we can't just assume we are going to walk away with it again. And maybe that is the stimulus that these kids would need. Would you rather be more comfortable with old players who have already been through this before, or younger guys who want to win? I'll take the latter every day of the week.
