he also had the advantage of working with coaches like ancelotti while he was only a member of back room staff. that is price less. plus his experience with coaches like del bosque, lippi while he was a player.

It’s a good point. He probably understands the game from off the pitch just as he did as a player. Just pointing out he was blessed to have such an amazing squad at his service.
