Also look at this screenshot. Isn't Chiesa supposed to be the RWB in this situation, covering Young? Look at our 3 musketeers' positioning as well: Bentancur, Rabiot and Ramsey. Ramsey's should be covering for Frabotta more, and you'd expect Rabiot or Bentancur to be a little more active in the box especially with incoming Vidal.
Well, that's just a foolish expectation.

If we lose the super coppa he must be demoted or sacked.

I hope this is another Sarri scenario where he is let go at the end of the season no matter what BUT with Sarri we were in scudetto fight.

This season a lot of teams will have up and down games- it’s hard to push 100% in every game with such a tight schedule. Even clubs like Bayern and Liverpool are struggling.
Milan are an exception in how many points they’ve taken- I think they’re number 1 in the top 5 leagues for ppg.
Yes. Too many matches, the most tightly packed schedule in memory. Coupled with covid break outs and short preseason. No time to actually train and develop systems between matches every 3 days.

It is the perfect storm of bad conditions to change coaches and appoint someone without experience at this time. IF we need to change coaches last summer the best would have been someone with 100% clear ideas (like Conte), the opposite of Pirlo. I hope the club was aware of this and made this choice consciously.

Pirlo isn't a coach, just like Tootise the scout isn't a proper sporting director.

Ideally, Pirlo should have been trying out his ideas at Albinoleffe, not @ Juventus. This is similar to the Nets hiring Nash, but they have 3 superstar level players in a team of five, while we have one ageing superstar in a team of 11 accompanied by a bunch of scrubs (Danilo, Dybala, De Ligt, McNuggets, Chiesa and Cuads aside).

The whole organization has turned into a sick joke, and Agnelli is to blame for trusting inexperienced and unqualified personell.
I was happy when we assigned Pirlo as coach for the youth team, we still had Sarri back then. FUCK SARRI by the way. Later one we fired Sarri (FUCK SARRI AGAIN) and it was very random that we promoted Pirlo from the youth section to the first team. It was a moment of joy and celebration that we got rid of the bum (FUCK HIM THRICE) that assigning Pirlo didn't really matter.

When things get going and a fan realizes the situation it really got frustrating. I am in the state of it doesn't matter, the mistake is done and we are not known to change coach mid-season but it is obvious he is not fit for the job. Yet. I want to say yet because the idea of Pirlo succeeding here is way too beautiful to dismiss.

The organisation turned to a joke when we fired Marotta for no logical reason whatsoever. It was obvious from the very first set of work that Tici "did" that he was incompetent. I said it after the match against Inter that Sarri won despite everything, not because of him, but because he got a way too strong squad that even with running it to the ground it could still win one title. But this has gone too far now and only Agnelli can fix it.

Honestly, I don’t see a big problem with our squad. We desperately need a top midfielder though. Bentancur, Rabiot, and Arthur are good backups but nowhere near being starting level for Juve
The first problem with our midfield is balance not lack of top quality..Those 3 are DM type.. actually in the whole squad we don't have that "hub" type player to connect the team, in the middle to see spaces to take the pressure off in midfield and have intelligence to create for the forwards instead of backpasses..More a regista than AM..got zero of those.

Exactly. That's why our best formation would be
4(cuads de ligt chiello/demiral a.sandro)

3 Arthur(regista) mckennie(Lmc to compensate for cr7) and Ramsey (RMC in the khedira role, to bomb forward)

3 The other 3 (cr7 morata/dybala chiesa/kulusewski)

I doubt we are ever going to see that this year with pirlo.

I personally would love to see a midfield of Bentancur - Mckennie for some stability and Kulusevski with a free role in front of them. However, in our current set-up, Pirlo probably doesn't see him as an AM that can cover either of the flanks defensively. Just wish he could drop these bullshit tactics already.

Im not sure I see Kulu as AM as well.. He should be a support striker - He did very well everytime I saw him playing there.

LOL, no.
Max would have doubled hakimi and serve Conte his own medicine. Sit deep, soak pressure and play on the counter, hoping that our individual brilience will give us a win.
If not 1 point is still better than none.
We can also agree that Max would have never played a frabotta like player in this match. Mckennie would have started at lb for lack of a better option. (remember matuidi).
I dont know what Max would do but I do know that even I without coaching experience or tactical knowledge like Allegri, would never put Frabotta vs Hakimi as its suicide.

Back to Allegri - He might have won that game, might draw or we might lose it with him as well but I do know that some basic mistakes would never occur.

The whole start of the Inter game was the same - Inter moved to the left only to change sides and leave Hakimi in a one on one with Frabotta.
Even if he does this mistake I`m pretty sure he would immediately respond and adjust our team on the spot.

What happened now lol?

Anyway, Southgate's managerial career started off badly and he got relegated then sacked. Later he took a lesser role as a under 21 coach of England then became a fan favourite for the English national team. Point is Pirlo's managerial career is not necessary over, just needs to accept that he is not ready to coach Juventus and needs some time manging a smaller team.
