Prolly the first time after several years that I enjoyed a game. Last two years were boring af. More importantly the players seemed to be enjoying as well, brimming with confidence, ideas flowing around, always finding a passage channel, aggressive without a ball and quickly regaining possession, plenty of movements off the ball, which created good amount of opportunities. Stark contrast to last season when we were nervous, disoriented and disjointed in general. Appointing Pirlo was a massive gamble but if anyone understands the game and how it needs to be played, it has to be him.

Kulu should replace Cuadrado when Dybala comes back. Dunno how you can bench Ramsey after a game like that but I’m guessing Dzeko will replace him.

The attack is very promising. I'm a little skeptical of the defence. This is a very unusual tactic. It's like Gasperini in attack but then he wants a more standard defensive shape. I think sometimes it will be hard to transition properly into that shape but we'll see.
