I just hope we won't use Pogba with a Pirlo role. I am with the idea of using Asamoah in the middle and seeing more of the De Ceglie crosses.
De Ceglie is still a liability though. He could cop a raping in CL.
Vidal is better as the holding DM role for sure, even if his passing can be bit erratic at times when he has too much time on his hand.
 he's so versatile.

4-3-1-2 or 4-3-2-1 is the way to go ladies.

Chiellini can deputize as LB in the games against Gala and Roma. Pogba, Vidal, and Pirlo ensure a lot of physicality, grinta, running, pace, and high tempo in midfield. It is all about pressing the opponents in these games, and making them lose the ball, make mistakes, and then we can counter with the Vooch and Tevez (both playing off Llorente, or Vucninc being the 1 in a 4-3-1-2). It will be even better if they come out to attack us, leaving lots of spaces for us to exploit and eventually punish them.

-------------Buffon------------
Licht-Barza-Caceres-Chiello
------Vidal-----Pogba-------
Marchi-----Tevez-----Vucinic
----------Rey Leon-------

tbh that looks sexy af
You don't change the system just because one of your starters is injured. The 352 is still best suited for this team. Vidal will most probably be deployed in Pirlo's role.

It's obvious how important it is that our wing backs know how to deliver a good ball into the box. Just annoying that the ones we have couldn't deliver to save their own lives.

I think we'll tighten the team up with something like;

Buffon

Lichtsteiner - Barzagli - Chiellini - Peluso

Pogba - Vidal - Asamoah

Marchisio - Llorente - Tevez
I'd love that line up but Peluso seems to have really fallen off Conte's radar as of late. I find it hard to believe he'll throw him in the deep end of our most important game so far and in Istanbul of all places.

Id recon we will see Caceres in the left back spot or maybe Chiello and have bon bon in the middle with barzagli

It would work with Tevez and Vucinic slotting in behind the striker in a 4-3-2-1.
And I would switch Caceres with Asamoah/Ogbonna. I know Caceres has played Lb for Uruguay, but that was more due to them not having an actual LB, but an additional RB instead, and wasn't an ideal solution.
