So funny story here. I’m living in The Netherlands and there’s a commentator here who’s been covering Serie A matches for ages. Dutch members know him for sure (Emiel Schelvis), he’s kinda annoying to listen to at times, but knows basically every player in Serie A.

So about 2 weeks ago I was in the pharmacy and there was this guy in line behind me. I didn’t even noticed him, but my son was doing very annoying and because of him I dropped some stuff, and there was the commentator suddenly helping me picking up those things.

Outside we started a conversation, really nice guy in real life. We’ve been talking for ~15 minutes. Mostly agreed on most points, we talked about Kulu, Benta, Pirlo, Ronaldo, Dybala and some specific matches like Porto and Fiorentina (the big loss). But also the change this club went trough in the past years.

The ‘big’ news from that conversation is that he said that De Ligt told him that there are discussions in the dressing room between the younger and older generation. Tbh I didn’t had the guts to ask where and when he spoke to him and today I’m still doubting a bit if he literally spoke to De Ligt (its perfectly possible as commentator tho, but you never know maybe it’s some rumor and he was just flexing against some random guy he just met), but it would kinda explain the mentality this team is showing on the pitch.

And I’m doubting his story because I’ve never seen some Italian newspaper reporting it, never saw someone at Sky saying something like that, and I guess that Italian media would be all over a rumor like that.

Btw I don’t want to build a reputation as fake guru or some internet troll, apparently I’m living in the same area as him (I moved here since december), I’ve been doubting to post it here as I don’t want to give a wrong impression, but it’s stuff to think about, because our current situation is fucked up and somewhere it wouldn’t be strange to hear that there are problems in the dressing room. Take it with a grain of salt, but it’s nice to share it with some other Juventini imo.
What do you mean by discussions? Do you mean having an argument?

Thats a hell of an achievement. Taking a title winning side outside of the CL places during a pandemic where no other teams have majorly strengthened while having your own squad strengthened

Juventus: A masterclass in mis-management since 2019
Pirlo is David Moyes.

I still can't believe this nightmare scenario.
Just because Pirlo helped us get out if the Dark Ages doesn't give him the right to put us back in one.

guy might be right, regardless of the authenticity of his intel. we never looked like a team this season, zero synergy between the players might be the single most important reason for it. guys like matuidi, pjanic, higuain, and even benatia were apparently good friends off the pitch too. covid and the consequent isolation aren't helping too much, still, we look and act like a bunch of overpaid mercenaries, and half of the team don't even care when we drop points.

Moyes is actually a pretty decent coach. Pirlo on the other hand has no business coaching even a half decent team atm nevermind a club as big as ours.

We could bring in any new manager nevermind the fact that it could be someone as accomplished as Allegri and that new manager syndrome alone would push us towards 4th. We are literally risking our financial future in the hands of an incompetent rookie.

But our supreme leader Che Agnelli probably doesn't want to hurt the winemaker's feelings so we're waiting to completely self destruct before making a move I guess.

Pirlo is not fit to hold a piss bucket for Moyes who had to replace a guy who in 27 years in the same club was way more than a coach, the guy was practically running man U and doing others people's jobs for them. They are barely now snapping out of the loss of SAF.

This Winemaking jester has the GOAT in his squad and we are fighting for CL qualification. This team is not nearly as bad as the table reflects.
That smoked salmon with a worse squad is doing better than Pirlo, do they got WC talent??
These are the names even worth mentioning and van de beek hasn't done shit this season by the way..
Marshal, rashford, pogba, bruno, ben de beek, mctominay, fred..
just shows how incompetent of a coach Pirlo really is..won't ever amount to shit in coaching I would bet my life on it.

We just have stupid players. Players who take no risks, players without the vision for football and i am 100% sure that no coach in the world can teach our midfield to play free flowing, semi-attacking football. Do you guys seriously think that Zidane, Pep or Klopp can implement their ideas with Rabiot, Bentancur, Ramsey and McKenie? No way in hell.

Exactly, they wouldn't. But would we struggle to even get to a CL place? I don't think so either.

some players are actually soft. in fact, all of our mids are soft this season, even bentancur lost his positive arrogance he had last season, he only kept the dumb mistimed fouls.

tudor :touched: just bring allegri or whoever we want to hire for next season. this season is a mess already, but it's still in our own hands, thanks to yesterday's lazio-milan. it'd be better to make the move until it's too late. "we're not sacking coaches mid season" is a questionable policy.
