I have no issue with the rewards - the issue, which in my eyes anyone with any concept of sporting merit will understand is that it is elitist and exclusive.

not sure if you’ve been a Juve fan for very long at all but the most beautiful triumph I’ve ever experienced is the first serie a title after our demotion. Earned on merit, not because we were called Juventus.

There is absolutely no fascination in a competition that involves the same teams year in year out, it completely misses the point. Footballs attempt at F1 and it spectacularly failed as it should have done
Been following Juve since 2003- my bond with the club was at its strongest when we were relegated in 2006.
I agree that the Super League format has a lot of flaws, but seriously it's not as bad as the new UCL format. UEFA can go and stick this new format where the sun don't shine.

But the new CL format is basically a carbon copy of the SL? Season ticket passes for clubs that don’t get into the competition by merit and a 10 game group stage.

I would honestly rather just see the CL drop back to being what it was supposed to be - just a competition for the champions of each nation with the domestic cup holders also getting entry. Scrap the Europa League and have a secondary tournament similar to the current format for the teams who finish 2nd-6th in the major leagues, then the winner of that cup gets entry to the CL - make the damn thing elitist on merit like sport should be

Between hiring Pirlo, keeping him for way too long and the whole Supeleague bullshit (even though I support the notion, but not the stubborness when it's obvious it is a lost cause) this guy will singlehandely destroy one of the greatest Juventus teams in the history. And he will do it in less than one year.

This season could have been salvageable. I'm not buying this whole "we're not good enough to be in the CL." Andrea just watched as the ship sank knowing quite well that their had been a hole and water flowing in months ago.
