So what are the chances of signing Ribery this summer?
Think about it for a sec :

Bayern paid 25 mil for him 2 years ago and he's been their best player so far so if they really want to get rid of him (which they don't) then they'll sell him for probably 30-35 mil. I would say clubs like madrid or city may pay up to 50-60 mil euros for him next summer...

Don't know our summer budget but its probably around 25 mil euros (which is pretty decent cash if spent wise).

So what would be a wise buy for 25? Are u looking at 1 big buy or more?

Positions to buy a new player for.

Definites - RB, CB, RW

Assuming De Ceglie gets his chances and replaces Molinaro who isnt good enough. Marchisio starts every game for the remainder of the season and shows he has something to give this team more than tiago and co. And Giovinco finally replaces the great Nedved.

If Marchisio doesnt then I would suggest a gun central midfielder who can offer creativity moving forward.

One big buy and thats it. I know we need better defenders but i'd rather we have one big quality signing per season with the limited budget that we have than getting 3-4 average players who will add nothing allready for the team.

This team is allready big enough (quantity wise) but we're really missing is quality. Sign a top winger who's "young" (its really important to be young cause we can't afford to replace the guy in 2-3 years time if he's 28-29).

next season we can get two quality defenders for 12-15 mil each and in 2-3 years time we can have a quality team that can allready win titles. Its about spending the money in the right way. Can secco pull these signings out i don't know though i doubt it looking at he's previous signings. But i really hope he proves us all (doubters) wrong next summer....
