With a ton of draft picks, a young roster, and 50 million in cap space, those expectations would be raised considerably if he were to sign on the dotted line, though.
Sounds like the Browns' calling card the last 2-3 years
The problem with Coughlin is his age - he's at a stage of his career/life where every year he could decide will be his last. I for one think he wants to continue coaching mostly out of spite and desire to shove it in Mara's face. In short, not the type of situation a franchise would want to build for the future.
one could say it's where they've belonged all along. Not sure who figured once upon a time: "Hey, you know which state could use 2 NFL teams? Missouri!"
This being said, hope the Chargers and Raiders stay put.
Wouldn't surprise me if he did build a Wal Mart there. I think he's married into that family. It's not as if he needs the money. He owns the Rams, Avalanche,Nuggets, Rapids, and, oh yeah. Arsenal.
Alas, it did not work out. It might have had something to do with me being 13 at the time. I had that same issue with my first crush, Stevie Nicks as well
