Ahhh, Fahk. Brandon Jacobs better not eat into Hunter's touches too much, or take too many of Frank's short yardage goal line carries. Not a fan of this signing.

Not to mention that Dru is going to be crying himself to sleep for a month. Stay strong, big guy :p
Na man, its very well documented here that I have proclaimed the man to be THE WORST RB IN NFL HISTORY. I was elated when I heard that he signed elsewhere :D

He and all the teams he coached for can burn in hell

How can this guy have an article on the frontpage of nfl.com when he ranks Andrew Luck as the 16th best NFL QB. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000...-heading-into-2012?module=HP11_content_stream

What a joke.
He's a fantasy analyst... He is projecting him to be the 16th best fantasy wise. Not saying he is the 16th best quarterback to lead a team to the super bowl. He's looking strictly at his potential production and how it would relate to basic fantasy football scoring (passing yards, TD's, INTs).

I don't agree with him on that, just thought it should be clarified.

Trent Baalke has been :tuttosport: these past two free agency periods. I'm very happy with him being the GM after seeing the way that McCloughan and Terry Donahue did things.

I'll send you some tissues, man. I know it's hard to lose your favorite player :D
It's gonna be a rough season not seeing him suit up in blue and not contribute to the actual game on the field :D

Brandon Jacobs - Worst RB!? Then what would you call Ryan Mathews? Damn I miss the old LT.
You can defend Jacobs all you like, it doesn't matter to me.

He means nothing to me and has done nothing of value for my Giants since 2008.

Oh my. Another Niners fan. Nice.
Dont worry man. I share your same feelings. I've been saying the same thing since we beat the Giants in the regular season. It's kinda funny when I'm out in the street seeing people rocking Niner gear that looks suspiciously new since I hadn't seen anybody wear anything Niner related since I was a little kid.

The 49ers seemed to do pretty good in free agency. I certainly don't see them taking a big step back this season. If they draft well they could be in line for a serious Super Bowl run.

I do think they need to look for a quarterback somewhere in the draft, maybe a mid round project. I don't see Alex Smith winning a Super Bowl. but who knows? I never would have thought Trent Dilfer would have won one.
Well we kept the defense intact which was something extremely hard to do. (thank Baalke for that) But, you gotta remember that the Niners defense had the 2nd(?) highest turnover differential in history. It probably wont happen again next year so the offense needs to step it up. And you can count on Alex winning us a superbowl simply because he has Harbaugh and you can see what he did in his first year running the west coast offense. Historically, QBs who are running the WCO for the first time in their career dont put up great numbers. The second year of them running it is when the ball really gets rolling which is why having Alex at QB makes me really damn excited. He finally has a legit HC and OC. The guy had a historical game against the Saints. No QB has ever done what he did in that game in the last 4 minutes. Alex is CLUTCH. Don't believe me? Look at how many 4th quarter comebacks he had this last season.

I'm not saying it to mock you. I'm just glad that there is another 49ers fan on board

Lions super bowl 2013 champs!
LOL... Stafford is too fragile for the Lions to put together a Super Bowl run.

They are building a great team, tho.

Tebow is clutch, too, but you didn;t see everyone lining up to get him when he became available. And I love Tebow (Gators fan).

Anyways, the Niners have a great defense and that is a big help when you a QB like Smith. He's not terrible, not by any means, but in hindsight he is obviously not a #1 pick. I hope he does well, the Niners are one of the teams I tend to root for. I got into football in the 80's and I was a big fan of the Niners before my hometown got the Jaguars.
