Neither do I, but I think he really likes that cap space in Denver. He can have a lot of influence on how that remaining 20M+ is spent, and I guess that could be pretty important to him.
Yeah, but who are they going to get now with that remaining 20 million in cap space? They need a lot of help at multiple positions, and if the Broncos think that getting the old band back together again in Denver with Addai, Stokely, Saturday, and Clark are going to help their SB chances, they are kidding themselves.

Meanwhile, if the 49ers resign Smith at the 8 million per contract, that will leave them with 11 million in cap space to find themselves a RG (I'm thinking Eric Steinbach, myself. Always liked him. Although, Geoff Schwartz from Carolina is intriguing as well, considering that he is 6' 6", 331lbs and still only 25 years old), and they will have enough to sign all of their draft picks as well.

I was doing some reading, and some sources were saying that the talk of Super Bowl or Bust with manning on the 49ers was bugging him.

Yeah, I think they'll start with Saturday and Clark, and if they don't make a run at Wallace then they're crazy. Demaryius, Decker, Wallace and Clark would be a pretty comfortable way to start. Blech. I don't wish ill upon Peyton, but I wouldn't mind seeing the Broncos struggle.

For what it's worth, Mike Wallace was working out in Santa Clara, with Kaepernick throwing passes to him.

Again, for what it's worth.
This was the dream before the offseason started, but it would be a miracle at this point. He's worth that pick and more.

I guess Manningham hasn't technically signed anything yet, has he? Really can't see this happening, but I would love it all the same.
