"Oh no, the New England Patriots acquired LaGarette Blount," said no opponent of theirs, ever.

:p

Okoye :tuttosport:

Can't believe this guy started throwing discus at 18, and two years later was an Olympian. Coaches are going to start him out as a DE...

Going to be fun to watch!

only the ones who know that even a pacifier can turn into a deadly weapon in Blly B's hands

a punishing RB like Blount is exactly what the Pats needed for their running game ... I was hoping they would go for Steven Jackson but Blount is your prototypical bargain player to likely see his career revitalized by BB.

steven jackson is done
it's a possibility, which is why I wanted him only for dirt cheap but it's very likely he just needed a change of scenery ... obviously he isn't a long-term solution but I think he would do well in Atlanta even if one can't deny the mileage he has on him.

Ironic the guy left the Rams when they finally seem to have put a decent team together ... still going to a better team though.

He will help the Pats. He's just so damn one dimensional though

Draft grades are coming in, and They range from B+ to an A for the Niners.

Did somebody say they wanted to see more on Marcus Lattimore?

:tuttosport: the best thing about it is that he has time to recover fully.

It's not just that he is a Top 10-15 talent when he is healthy. It's not just that he is now a 49er.

This kid's story is just an inspiration. What does it say about how much nfl scouts and coaches respect him when they all gave him a standing ovation after his pro day workout, nearly 5 months after his horrific injury?

He is easy to root for, and I would be rooting for him even if he weren't a 49er now. I would take a kid with a 5 talent on a scale of 1-10 with a 10 attitude, heart and work ethic, over the opposite any day of the week.

I didn't realize. But seriously, who didn't see this coming?
Tim Tebow, apparently.

Your God has failed you Tim. Your God has failed you.
