Sure he did, but it doesn't mean he played poorly in all those matches, and it doesn't mean he didn't add to the team. He sat out a couple matches those months as well.

Then when Iaquinta went cold and went out with injury, Amauri started scoring. Could it be that Iaquinta was holding him back?

Our first major loss came at the hands of Napoli at home. Do you know who started that match? I'll tell you what, it wasn't Amauri.

It's so easy to come up with these half-wit connections that simple minded folk love to address, but isn't that simple.
Sure, it's easy to come up with all sorts of connections & I won't agree with most of them. But the fact of the matter (for me) is that Amauri has underperformed for the last 1,5 seasons.

And you are right, he barely played in that awful Napoli game. But, scoring wasn't the problem in that game if you ask me. We were overrun in the mid & at the back in the 2nd half, but we did convert our own chances.

And even before that Napoli game, Amauri had some bad games. I remember him being quite bad at home against Bologna & away to Genoa. He also was absolutely terrible away to Palermo (granted, the entire team was pretty bad, but he was even worse than most).

Now, as for who the better player is between Iaq & Amauri: I simply do not know. Main difference between the 2 being that Iaquinta is supposed to be a bit more flexible in terms of formation(s). Plus, I still regard Amauri as a guaranteed starter, while Iaquinta has never been that at Juve. Maybe that clouds my judgement a bit, I don't know.

when Amauri made an asist for Chiellinis goal nobody recognise that, but when Trezeguet tap in ball from 1 yard against Bari,he is man of the match,

Both Iaquinta and Amauri have performed well in bursts.

Both Amauri and Iaquinta have failed to show anything close to level of consistency required of a forward at a big club.

Neither Iaquinta or Amauri could really complain if Juve looked to sell them in the summer.

I have only been half watching recent games, but Amauri is doing more right now.

Iaquinta hasn't really looked good (or at least back to his usual self), since returning from injury.

But does not link up as well as Amauri. Iaquinta is a selfish player and I can understand if his finishing is like Trez's then I can understand, but it is not.

Amauri isn't known for his defensive attributes. Granted, he should have done better there, but even Melo was jumping around like that too.

If you want to blame the game on Amauri then go ahead, but that just goes to show he's hated for almost no reason here.
