No,Amuari is not overrated(But his price is a bit higher though) and he will prove you all wrong if some big clubs buys him.
Saviola isn`t uderrated. He can`t keep up with a good form. His form always falls down and he`s very weak psihicaly.
Well, one could probably get both Huntelaar and Saviola for the same price as Amauri. Saviola and Huntelaar would both probably be more understanding that they would start out fourth and fifth respectively on the pecking order than Amauri would.
I don't think Amauri is a sufficient upgrade on Trezeguet, Iaquinta or Del Piero for that price tag, I should make that clear. Yes, Del Piero is getting older, but he's still going to be capable of starting at least half the games. Iaquinta and Trezeguet are workhorses. Any new forwards should be eventual replacements for Trez and DP. I don't think Amauri really fits that, seeing as he's roughly the same age as Iaquinta and only two and a half years younger than Trezeguet without the same killer skills. Where Huntelaar is 24 and Gomez is 22. Those are the types we should be spending big on.
I also don't see 25 million sitting on the bench, and with both Del Piero and Iaquinta commanding field time with their efforts, and Trezeguet being such a requirement... Amauri might upset the mix more than a young guy like Huntelaar would, or a guy who's starting to come to grips with the fact that he's not elite, like Saviola.
Saviola is not a top striker, that's for sure... but he's solid, solid depth.
I'd rather Trezeguet, Iaquinta, Del Piero, Huntelaar, Saviola being my depth for roughly the same price as Trezeguet, Del Piero, Amauri, Iaquinta (assuming Palladino goes).
