Thats not fair, Tevez is an elite player and the only one to have a season at the level of Pirlo 2011-12.

the intention here was not to talk down on Tevez, but rather clarify that Morata, is far from the best forwards this club has seen.

No it’s only trolling used by a few anti-Higuain posters on here who were butt hurt over us signing him. Higuain is still a superior player to Morata. Although has to be said I much prefer the Spaniards style of play and class on the field.

Agreed. I rate Higuain. He is a good striker and much more consistent than Morata, but Morata has qualitys we now lack.

I see your point about prefering Morata's playstyle: he is much more mobile, and runs behind the opponents defence. Higuain just does not have the pace or the sting to do that anymore.

My dream is that we somehow manage to scout a new top pace-driven mobile striker like Henry was, or Cavani or Auba is now. I had hopes for Kean, but im not sure anymore.

We need someone to carry counters for us, and be a Nuisance. Higuain is very easy to control when we dont dominate possesion.
