Love this player, I really do, but:

Anyone who has followed this club for quite some time know that this club will always be fine. If we survived Calciopoli, Serie-B, losing lots of stars, built ourselves back up again to be the undisputed powerhouse of Italy (even reaching a CL final in the process), well, then, $#@!, why worry about something as trivial as losing Morata, Pogba etc.? Juve will always be Juve.

Now, with that said, obviously I want to keep our best players. My favourite players in our current squad are in fact Pogba and Morata (and Buffon of course, but there will never be the fear of losing him), so I'm not completely indifferent to what happens with those players. I hope we can keep them. But if they leave, then I just know we will replace them adequately and continue our path.

Yeah we will be fine. Just to win that CL for once.We are a champions of lost finals. And it took us nearly 6 years to stand on our feet after Merdaropolli.It was a quiet painful experience.

Anyway, still not convinced that Madrid will go for him at the end of the season anyway. Besides a couple of patches of Okayish goal-scoring form, he has been largely terrible to mediocre all season. Madrid are all about glitzy, shiny, attractive ST options, so I expect them to go for the likes of Lewandowski or Aubameyang in the summer. Morata will stay at least one more season IMO.

How does that even make sense? It's one thing for Juve to have no say in the deal since Madrid remain the parent club. But for Morata to have no say in that deal? No player or agent can be that dumb. I mean he practically gets plucked out of Juve to be sent to dungeon master Wenger's rat cave? And he doesn't get a say in any of it? FFS.

He still has a say in it even according to this deal. He technically/legally has no say if Madrid want him back but the will of the player is still important if they want to get anything out of him. Madrid can't sell him when his contract is still running without his approval so Morata would go to Arsenal for instance only if he agrees to the deal.

In otherwords, they can bring him to Madrid against his will but if he wanted to stay at Juve then they are screwed. He will go back to Madrid but he will be a very unhappy man and so he will either be a flop for them (which is bad business they might as well leave him at Juve) or he will refuse to move to Arsenal/anywhere and that will be within his legal rights.

It will never make sense for Madrid to bring Morata against his will, why would they pay 30 mill now for a player who doesn't want to play for them and legally can block all their attempts at selling him. The only way this will work is if he told them he is open to moving to another club or to being on Madrid's bench.

- real had absolutely zero intention of selling him. they wanted to loan him to a mid-table la liga side.
- morata had absolutely zero intention of breaking with real. therefore, his remaining 1 year contract didn´t help us at all.
- yet, morata wanted to play for a top team -> real agreed to that but only under one condition: repurchase clause.
- several european high profile teams lined up for him and were prepered to offer more and to agree to the repurchase clause.

summing up: we had absolutely zero leverage in the deal.
it was down to two options:
1. accepting the conditions and getting your favourite striker for at least 2 years making guaranteed profit in case of real activating the clause.
2. forgetting about morata and settle for another makeshift solution.

well, thanks for getting us to the cl final alvaro and making us tens of millions. also thanks for kicking out real who "did everything right because juve is always bending over" in the semi-finals . (yeah, i can be captain hindsight as well...)

i have already mentioned this several times but again:
- should we have taken morata by accepting the clause? fuck yeah!
- would we have prefered a solution without any clause? well of course
- was it possible? highly unlikely

btw: don´t give me shit about the "credible sources" mentioned above. i know di marzio, laudisa and co are far from perfect but considering all other "sources" we got are the asses of always complaining cunts who would have prefered to get immobile instead of morata.... well, i will take my chances.
