He is 10x than Mandzukic in my opinion it boggles my mind why Allegri doesn't see it that way, unless maybe you guys plan on playing Berardi up top with Dybala?
Berardi's potential utility in Allegri's tactics is a whole other debate and mind fuck on its own

I seed that you are spreading this lunacy here as well :D

Bad enough that I got 12 text messages in 30 seconds from you and Hustini.

I don't think anyone has commented on ESPN yet, so you can go there and spread your fear-mongering somewhere else :D
We're in the middle of an election race my friend

Morata has been in terrible form all year. Only of late has he started to shine again. We'll start seeing him more from now on I suppose. Mandy, while not bringing the goals contribute to the team play. That along with Morata's terrible form basically made it easy for Allegri.
Is he in spain's team? Who do they have, other than costa than competes with him for the starting spot?

Pedro Rodriguez, Alvaro Morata, Aritz Aduriz, Paco Alcacer, Nolito are the ones picked for this week's games. Costa was dropped. He'll certainly make the cut for the Euro squad though.

Just read the contract. Morata has no say in the deal. Also there are contract clauses that say:
-If the player features in less than 25% of matches (if not injured) played by juve, Madrid will pay 20.000.000 euros
-If he participates between 25% and 50% of the matches (if not injured), Madrid will pay juve 25.000.000 euros
-If he plays more than 50% of the matches (if not injured), Madrid will pay juve 30.000.000 euros

Note: He has to feature for at least 45 minutes per match, otherwise it will not count as a match played.

I'd be nice if someone could look up his playing time and match stats and share it.

If Real Madrid exercise their buy back right and Juventus doesn't want to let the player go, 80.000.000 euros must be paid to madrid. That's the contract termination agreement.
wat? Is this for real?

Berardi if we do bring him back would be used to rotate with Dybala at SS or behind 2 strikers in a 4-3-1-2. when we are playing a 4-3-3 (very rarely) he would compete with Cuadrado for the RW spot. i doubt we will play without a true CF so i think we wont see a Berardi - Dybala partnership. atleast not on a regular basis

Thx for the info!

I just took a look at the Berardi thread and it seems best to leave it to the professional Juve fans to decipher that problem

It should be Costa or Morata leading the attack. The former is a better player now but has miserably failed at Spain so far and doesnt seem to fit their style. Morata is clearly better than all the others and Pedro is no CF. Morata can be their new David Villa if he develops right.

How does that even make sense? It's one thing for Juve to have no say in the deal since Madrid remain the parent club. But for Morata to have no say in that deal? No player or agent can be that dumb. I mean he practically gets plucked out of Juve to be sent to dungeon master Wenger's rat cave? And he doesn't get a say in any of it? FFS.

I'm not worried if we lose him. Would suck ass but we will be fine.
:agree:

Love this player, I really do, but:

Anyone who has followed this club for quite some time know that this club will always be fine. If we survived Calciopoli, Serie-B, losing lots of stars, built ourselves back up again to be the undisputed powerhouse of Italy (even reaching a CL final in the process), well, then, fuck, why worry about something as trivial as losing Morata, Pogba etc.? Juve will always be Juve.

Now, with that said, obviously I want to keep our best players. My favourite players in our current squad are in fact Pogba and Morata (and Buffon of course, but there will never be the fear of losing him), so I'm not completely indifferent to what happens with those players. I hope we can keep them. But if they leave, then I just know we will replace them adequately and continue our path.

wtf

What a terrible deal. Why would we accept such terms? And Morata had only 1 year of contract back then.

One way to terminate that awful clause without paying shitload of money, is to give RM a first refusal option on Pogba. If Paul is leaving next summer or in 2-3 years time, we might as well use it to our advantage.

Of course, that's only if RM are really planning to re-sell the lad. If they want to actually keep him, I can see Morata personally pushing for the move back to Madrid.
