Pedro doesn't get too involved in the play and spends most of his time looking to run in behind the defence and stretch the game.

Sanchez wants to get the ball and be involved in play.

Sanchez can play in the position Pedro plays, but he'll interpret the role very differently and would change the way Barca play.

He could adopt but he won't be as effective as he is now. Sanchez is better played when he is given a free role

It's the system rather than the formation.

It would be a waste of Sanchez's ability and vision to make him someone whose job is primarily to run off the ball.

Pedro also scores so many important goals that it would seem very risky to be looking to take him out of the team.

Might work, but last time Barca put a ball player into their team instead of an off-the-ball player (Ibrahimovic for Eto'o) it upset the balance of their system and they were less effective.

Think of it this way. Sanchez goes there then we have a better shot at Rossi, no? Barca wont sign both of them. They arnt Real and buy 5 players for every position. Congrats to sanchez for moving to barca if it happens but honestly this is a stupid move. He goes from bring the centre of all attacks in Udinese to a team star studed and will probably see 15-20minutes every other game. I am not saying sanchez cant succeed at barca but hes destined for the bench. This deal is almost as bad if Pastore leaves for Real. I am not saying this because Im hating on players not wanting to come to Juve and I obviously dont know what its like when a team like Barca come calling but as a young talent wanting to make it big you have to be smart and pick a team that you know you are atleast going to get playing time atleast in a rotation but with Barca who have dominated europe in the bast 5 years and with a team only 2 players in there line up over 30 I just dont see Pep making changes. Whether you hate Barca or not the team is unreal and dominate together. I just dont see Sanchez making an impact there. He wont replace Villa or Pedro on the outside. I know people on here dislike pedro but hes a talent who already has years under the Barca system so I just dont see it. Either way Sanchez if you move there, best of luck but stupid move.

It is a stupid move 'cause we dont believe he is good enough to be a regular starter, but if you are a player like Sanchez or whomever, you believe you're the best and you wanna play for the best team in the World. I dont think Sanchez is saying to himself: "Im a good player, but they are all better than me there." He is saying to himself: "Im amazing and Im going to take over that team and be a superstar like no other."
