Pleeeeaseeee! Something tells me Barca never wanted the player, could this be true? Inter still want him though.
I don't see Bojan accepting Udinese. However I think it may be a ploy of Barca to get Villareal to lower their demands for Rossi.

Our offer is a better offer than Inter's at the minute.

That's what I thought. However, has there been ANY quotes suggesting we've been in contact with the player or the club about the transfer at all? And wasn't our offer rejected?

SKY and StudioSport mentioned we've met his agent, Conte wants the player at all costs. Our offer of 30 Million was apparently rejected. Inter have not bidded anywhere near that amount. If he does not go to Barca I'd say we've got the best chance of signing him.

not so sure about that ;)

the way it's going now, Barca will get one of Rosi or Sanchez with the latter seemingly close to agreeing terms with the Catalans ... the spanish tabloids sell it as a done deal, actually but then again it's the spanish press :disagree:

Inter and Juve would have to battle it out for whoever is left over - most likely Rossi - although it may well be that Tevez would also enter the race. If I were you guys, I'd hope to see Rossi go to Inter and Tevez to Juve ;)

Inter offered 18 Million + Mariga.
the media is flooded with conflicting reports on the offers by Juve and Inter. It is highly unlikely that any of the claims of either team offering 30 mil in cash holds any truth to it, considering the silly season is still in its infancy. The most serious claims so far have been of around 20 mil + players by both Inter and Juve but the players Juve has been willing to offer so far are pretty abysmal ...
anyways, time will tell ... still, at this very moment it looks like Barca is at least a Zlatan-like nose ahead of both Juve and Inter in the race for Sanchez.

If the reports of Tevez wanting out of City are indeed true, you guys can lose Sanchez and Rossi and still land a quality SS and maybe at a pretty good price at that, if you manage to exploit the situation. Your most serious contenders for Tevez would be Real and Inter but if the end up with Aguero and Rossi/Sanchez, respectively, you'd have a very decent shot at a good deal for Tevez w/o having to overpay for him.
In fact, I think Tevez is better than Rossi and Sanchez ... you don't win a player of the year award in Brazil by being average and Argentinian at the same time :)

There's no way we can afford Tevez wages though :D
it depends on how strongly he feels about getting out of foggy old Manchester :) ... plus, if you were to sign an unproven, at the top level, prospect like Sanchez, it seems you'd have to dish out at least 4-4.5 mil/season in order to gain his preference and beat out Inter and Barca ... doubt Tevez gets paid twice as much at Man City. I'd think he doesn't get more than 5-5.5 mil there.

30 million for Sanchez being rejected? :howler:
