What are we paying Ale? or Pirlo?

We are finally starting to be the real juve again and what we need is ONE young quality CB and our defense is sorted, yet marotta does his usual and makes a list of free agents before the mercato begins. There are many reasons i dont want nesta at juve and i dont think this will work out like it did with pirlo. One injury and this fossil will be on the shelf for half a season.

I really hope this is just a rumor :scared:
young quality CBs are either mad expensive or simply dont exist.

we've got Barza who's in prime form, Bonucci who is OK but not reliable enough, so getting Nesta as coverage would be ideal till Sorensen gets experience.

it would solve an existing issue with zero fuss and allow us to not divert funds and focus on getting quality forwards.

Short term option to give time to any younger players hoping to actually get through at this club, yes. I'm not really that keen on a lot of younger centre backs out there at the moment.

I don't think he'd be playing as many games (due to resting, if it's needed), wouldn't be as stressful on him. I wouldn't particularly want to see big money spent at CB though.

You we were against Pirlo right?
He was also against Conte but not like you and me were against him, he said that Conte is insulting the fans by accepting and that he was only appointed to please the nationalists who support the club.

I don't mind Cronios, I respect his opinions but his nationalism talk is just too much. :sergio:

Two words. Pietro Vierchowod.

We signed him when he was like 37, and he played a very solid season for us (started in the CL final). Nesta is/was infinitely better than that guy as well, he'd be brilliant to have for one season, would provide experience and nous to our backline.

He genuinely believes our management is racist.

correct me if i am wrong but ferrara played a great season at the age of 38 or 39 did he not? and he actually played a starting role.

The problem with getting Nesta is not his age, it's that he's very injury prone. For what he brings to the table, considering that we'll surely won't be spending big on this position, Nesta will be a really good addition for rotation with Chiellini, Barzagli, Caceres and Bonucci.

One of the best CB's in the past 20 years, if not the best. Has slowed down quite a bit but still a top defender. Injury prone like hell though.

Milan will probably sign him up for another year.
