I love il dandy.

Was our savior in Siena and scored a delightful brace tonight.

That he didn't score at least 2 goals in our season opener vs. Parma, when he had 1 goal wrongfully disallowed and hit the post in the second half, was just really bad luck.

His season tally should really be 5 goals now.

I don't care that it's not, because he's proving to me that he's as lethal as ever, and pretty damn consistent.

When on form, he should always be on the team sheet, if our aim is to win games.

I'm usually not a fan of predicting line-ups and all that stuff, but he truly is the one and only pure STRIKER we've got. If one doesn't count grandpa Toni.

Strong, pretty fast, hard working and he just puts it in the back of the net most of the time.

What's there not to like? It would be a crime to bench him against the purple rats.
