PSG let him walk for free so he didn’t have any advantage. With United and the rumors of salary negation, he certainly has the upper hand bc he’s a free agent.
Only Jj has been finessed by him which is not surprising
In the last days there was a contact between #Juventus and the agent/mom of #Rabiot. The renewal is (very) complicated, but the parties will discuss it again in the coming weeks ⚠️
Honestly I'm in 2 minds on him. Part of me thinks he's just performing because he needs a contract.
But there is another part of me that thinks he has finally matured and realised he isn't a kid anymore and needs to go onto the pitch and make a contribution.
No fuking way and hopefully management doesn't give him that money. If they do I give just as much blame onto Max. Don't see how EPL clubs won't give him the 8-10M but if they don't I wouldn't even take him back for 7M. If Juve does I see his and mom's mentality being no need to give 100% consistently. Hopefully get PP back with the numerous youngsters at Max's disposable and the likes of him, Parades aren't needed.
Allegris wants and evaluations led partly to Juve's regression, rememeber when he kept starting the corpse of Khedira, which led to a renewal? Fuck what he wants, he shouldnt even survive past this season.

Wait a minute ..... didn't mom not accept more money at MU? Do you really believe she would take less to stay at Juve and be happy? Only way would be only offer on table. And I still would say no unless you give him one year contract which would guarantee to me Rabiot has to play hard for the next contract, somewhere else of course. Once Juve gave him 7M they priced themselves out of getting value for his play with a future contract.
And I realize free signings are great to get but IMO puts the team's yearly salary structure way out of wack. What does it do to the mentality/grinta of the players getting half as much but just as talented?

Oh I agree. And that’s why I think we should not resign him under any circumstance. He will refuse a pay cut. And ask for a raise too. Street with extreme prejudice

Think he pretty much implied in a WC interview that he's playing for the pay rise, either through a contract extension with us or through a transfer to a PL club. He's said several times that the PL attracts him.
