Guys neither of the two line-ups we saw in these games are ever likely to be fielded from the start in official games. He's just giving players a run-in, judging their mental make-up and skill sets in freer roles than they are probably used to. The true gelling of the unit can only happen when everyone gets a game and be up to 90 minutes of fitness. This is nothing more than that. A squad gelling exercise, bringing players up to speed and studying what the eventual starting line-up would be. Even though I'm not a fan of our rather confused looking coach, I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt - in the preseason at least.

Actually I'm happy that we are not winning every single game 5-0; I believe we have perfect matches to play befor official season and perfect opponents.

These games will give immense info to Ranieri.

Of course the actual first team hasn't played yet. and I just Love this team. huge competiotion in squad and we will not fear injuries I guess.

Hamburg are just days away from the start of their league! so what is this crap about the sacking of Ranieri, they played CL last year. I personally didn't expect a win especially since we fielded a below strength Juve in order to give all players a chance to gain match rythm. I'd rather have Juve lose all our friendlies then in competition.

If the squad we feilded against Newcastle wud `ve played then we wud have won the match
maybe but that is not the point of these friendlies, we gave other players playing time. Ranieri wants all players to be ready for the competition. So what if we lose or win, we want to win in serie A that is what really matters

well, RUINeri has yet to disappoint :p

does anyone seriously believe that things will get better with this guy in charge ??
Yes , I believe , go ahead crucify me for believing in Raineri and the current management and not wanting Moggi and Cannavaro back.

Crapello wants to go to America. and Lippi wants to respect his holiday schedule!
Cappello just accepted job as RAI Commentator.

All it matter is to do well in the start of the Seria A , and win the first couple of matches, not only to win but to trash the opponents hard , so our real competitors for the first 4 places are scared like shit from that.
