Excellent player when he was focused and professional. Unfortunately that was rarely the case and he seemed to go onto the pitch like it was a training game where he tried to add tricks to a highlight reel.

Also turned out to be difficult to fit in the formation and ended up more often than not in a 2 up front which didn't suit him. Which was ironic given that was a big criticism of Dybala and he would have suited that role far better.

Costa was unplayable when fit

Shame that was 2 games in a row every 3 months

We'd sometimes play like we do now but he'd simply take the ball past 3 people and get us up the pitch

You know... what every team that sits back should have. A few lightning quick, direct players to make it a valid strategy.

Costa was much more decisive and also vs much bigger opponents, Di Maria shined mainly vs fucking Nantes, in form Costa would run past that whole Nantes team.

He was in 2017-18 under Allegri. The last 2/3 of that season and the first 2/3 of his first Bayern season under Pep he looked like one of the best wingers in the world. The two best seasons of his career by a country mile.

Aside from that, even in the rare times he was fit, he was complete ass at both Juve and Bayern. I still remember Pavle and other Sarri bois talking about how he was gonna be incredible under Sarri. He had like two good matches and then he was god awful the rest of that season any time he was fit and we got rid of him the following summer.

All the talent in the world, but such a dumb, unserious player.

He was pretty explosive in Shakhtar too when I saw them in CL.

this club is just complete ass when it comes to signing wide attacking players.

in the past 25 years the only successful wide players signed were nedved, cuadrado, ronaldo pepe, and coman.

that's it. the rest has been disgustingly bad: berna, di maria, chiesa, krasic, elia, martinez, pjaca, and others

Camoranesi?

Indeed thelist is very short because the club refuses to join the rest of the world in 21st century. Still playing that stone age football and keeps stockpiling CMs instead of getting a pair of competent wingers.

Dude, he mentioned Pepe in the successful list and put Chiesa in the disgustingly bad one. Can you really take that domesticated pussycat seriously?

This is Loin in real life. Is this a face you can trust?
