I understand all of that, but this discussion was specific for Pereyra and how somebody like Pereyra could improve. Not him becoming a master defensive midfielder with the whole repertoire.

People say that when it comes to defence, especially in American sports. And I kinda agree with when it comes to midfielders and strikers. It is all about effort when it comes to them, tracking back and putting constant pressure is easier to teach than ball control and an offensive game.

I love the role Allegri has given him. He's always moving in front of the midfield and very involved with Llorente and Tevez. Usually our midfilders are always behind ball leaving a big distande between Llorente and Tevez.
