[Champions League] Chelsea 2-2 JUVENTUS (19th September 2012)

There's nothing wrong with supporting them in commentary, but when they come up with funny shit then they deserve the ridicule. I was very tempted to correct all the spelling errors.

The quote seems weird yeah, but I'd like to see what he might have said on Italian TV, I can definitely understand not wanting to bother explaining shit in England. He recently called out Zeman over the whole doping situation for example. If he thinks Chelsea is historically bigger than...

This. The Chelsea being a bigger club is probably true if you look at recent history (last 5 years), I don't know if he meant that or not. I wouldn't have blamed him if he didn't want to start any debate through an English broadcaster. I caught Gullit and Souness on a stream last...

From what I recall in Europe they're not really afraid of any team and they have a lot of experience (won the UEFA Cup IIRC). Oh, and they can be effective from the flanks quite often, so we'll see if they try to counter the three man defense.

Then you have to wonder what Shakhtar can realistically expect from the games against Chelsea and Juventus. I haven't seen them in a while but looking at their squad, on paper they don't really match up. We'll know a lot more when they come to Juventus Stadium in a couple of weeks.

10 is usually the magic number, unless there are very rare cases. Last season was a bit of a mindfuck.

On course to qualify from the group, positive opener. Sloppy to begin with but showed signs of being more dominant on several occasions. Looked comfortable away from home as well. I wonder how long teams will continue trying to focus on Pirlo throughout the game while Vidal and Marchisio...

At least we have very few survivors from the 97-06 era that kept losing against the English sides away from home. Not half as confident as some of you though :D I'd take a draw with evenly matched sides, so much inexperience still in this team. Obviously play to win though.
