Can't see him accepting a move to Stoke

Very well played today, game really suited him in the second half when it was stretched, but he showed that he is willing to put in the effort despite what has gone on over the past few weeks.

Eventhough he nearly gave me a heart attack with that tackle on Inzaghi at the end, he strangely did well on the goal. He seemed to do all of the difficult bits in timing the run and bringing the ball down, only to trip over it. But he reacted quickly and kept calm.

:agree: I agree, but I just think that Momo gives the ball away too often. But games in which we are facing counter attacking sides he does play well in being able to get back and win the ball, plus he did look good against Man City. Having said that I would play Melo, Aquilani, Marchisio...

I agree with you regarding players not making runs for him yesterday, but his passing is generally poor. I think some people's criticism of Marchisio is over the top, he played a "killer" pass to Quagliarella yesterday to go one on one, and played well defensively, plus he has scored two...

:agree: About two minutes before he gave the ball away in our own half then brought down a player right on the edge of the area. He is a liability at the moment

True, I agree that we should be trying 4-2-3-1, we change something and it has been better than 4-3-1-2 when we have used it this season. I'm just saying that long term in unsure about Melo and Sissoko together as the "2" in that formation.

If you are playing 4-2-3-1, you will need someone who can distribute the ball to the forward players. We certainly do not have any defenders who can do that, and I am not convinced that Melo and Sissoko have the ability to do so consistently.

I think that you have a good point. We seem to be using him to try to start attacks and make runs into the box and he just hasn't got that ability. The question is, can we afford the luxury of a player who is there only to tackle opponents? I just don't know, I guess with the right...

Unbelievable stuff, his legs just seem to extend to get the ball! Hopefully there is still more to come as he reaches full match fitness.

on channel4 website it said Marchisio was out of the Chelsea game. I don't know why, I take it this is a mistake on their part?

Remember the games Poulsen played were at the start of the season, mainly when everybody was playing terribly and we were in a bad run, so I wouldn't read to much into these statistics. But I must admit Sissoko and Marchisio have played well recently!

Great performance last night from Momo, glad to see he is picking up from where he left off last season. Plus, him with Poulsen looked solid in the middle! IMO Sissoko and Chiellini were Juve's best players last night.

They sure can, but it can easily be avoided with a bit of concentration!my worry is that Sissoko is too clumsy and could give a way a lot of cheap and dangerous FKs and PKs with his rash tackles. But i have to admit he played pretty well against Reggina apart from the PK and his miss...

don't we all!! i just hope he thinks a bit more before attempting outrageous moves e.g. elaborate overhead kicks in our own penalty area.
