Maybe Zlatan is not giving it his all because he's not being paid what he himself thinks he deserves?

I assume some players are like that.

Hasn't he been bitching for a new contract for quite some time now?

It would be so typical if we sold him and while at another club he turns into the player we all deep down know he can be/will become.
the incredible superb wonder goal he scored for ajax huh?
thats what have been bugging me in the mind all along
the patience in juventus..........
just look at what happened to henry after he left juve
typical thinking dude..........he's good but for the moment juventus doesn't need a player of such
if money is all he wants, he can go fuck himself off to chelsea for all i concern
we can get a better player with the money
cassano or torres for instance

Yeah, he's a cnut at the moment.

But at one point, though, he'll probably be the best striker in the world.
My own personal belief.

Nevertheless; no use having him stick around in wait of that moment.

If a club is willing to pay £32m for his services I say take it.

Sorry but my view (and surely the club's as well) is that if you want to be paid a higher salary you prove that you are worth it on the pitch. No player can hold a club to ransom, certainly not a club like Juventus.

If he thinks he has the capacity to act as he deems fit for his salary then he needs to leave, period.

Ibra agrees Juve stay – reports Thursday 13 April, 2006

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Juventus and Zlatan Ibrahimovic are on the verge of prolonging their relationship, according to reports in Italy.

Talks over a new contract for the striker have been taking place for most of this season, but an agreement was becoming difficult to find.

However, sources in Sweden – Zlatan’s home country – suggest that the player has signed a new three-year contract, with the option of extending for a fourth.

Although nothing has been confirmed by neither the club nor the player, whispers suggest Juventus will make an official announcement at the end of this season.

Ibrahimovic, a transfer target for Chelsea and Real Madrid, will therefore remain at the Stadio Delle Alpi until at least June 2009.

The new deal will also see the international striker net a significant pay increase, more than double what he currently earns.

The former Ajax sensation was accepting around £1.2m a term, but the new contract will see him add just under £3m a season to his bank account.

The alleged extension clearly underlines the faith that Juventus have in the striker despite his mediocre campaign.

Although even jeered by some sections of the Delle Alpi crowd after scoring just six League goals this term, Ibrahimovic seems set to be an important part of the club’s future for some time to come.

I do believe we should give him one more season. Then we evaluate it from there.
Just hope you are right. I would still prefer to sell him now, and use that money to improve the team. At least one of our big players must be sold, zlatan seems perfect. Perhaps we could see how he does in the world cup, then decide?:)

Cassano And Suazo To Juve, Ibra To Chelsea?

Juventus are set for a few changes this summer, according to Goal.com’s Italian edition.

The main revolution regards the Bianconeri’s offensive sector as Zlatan Ibrahimovic is set to leave for London (central) or Madrid.

In the Swede magician’s place the twenty-eight time Italian champs are thinking of bringing in two young stars, Capello pupil Antonio Cassano and Cagliari’s Honduras sensation David Suazo.

On defense, Fiorentina’s Pasqual is on the top of the list, while former Roma keeper Antonioli is on his way to replace Abbiati as Buffon’s reserve.

Only if there is an astronomical fee would i sell zlatan as his potential is huge.

We could do a lot more with zlatan's skills than that of cassano.

But if there was a special offer, then we probably could do a lot more with that also.

i doubt so mate...........!
the potential of cassano is alot more
if we know how to use him because cassano is more of an all round player
he has experience in the left wing like del piero and a deadly head
zlatan has height but the way he controls the ball is a joke
too inconsistent
cassano lacks fitness but has the thirst to win and improve
AND HE'S AN ITALIAN.........!!!

Cassano is merely another little midget who can dribble. He isnt known to have any aerial ability whatso ever.

Potential wise Zlatan is miles ahead mate. All we need to do is make zlatan a consistant finishers and we have an epic player on our hands.

And cassano only has thirst for dosh/mulaar/wonga or most commonly known as money.
