nice that there is one more persn that has faith in zebina:D
I'm not going to go as far as saying that I have faith in him, but he's a pretty decent signing imo. He's fast, young, free, and a good back-up player. If Moggi is bringing in Zebina as a starter, then I hate it, but I'm almost 100% sure that we'll get AT LEAST two other defenders.

i don't know at least two, but i'm sure that he gonna get one more. as for the starter, we should see how he performes, and if he is good, why not give him a chance to be starter

I was not able to read the whole thread, but its seems to me that 99% of the people are not happy about signing Zebina. I think they are not right! Zebina was an error prone last season, but this year ha was great, ha always had the talent and all the physical and technical capabilities to be a class defender. He only had problems in his mind, but imo (I hope) he matured in that aspect.

So, I dont think we no more need a world class CD, but comparing what we got (Iuliano, Ferrara, Leg, Montero) a kind of player like him, was absolutely needed. He, or Leg could be partnered with a class cd, and our central deffensive problems are mainly solved.

And he is just 25, and for no fee.

Of all the defenders out there Juve sign my least favourite player (along with Materazzi) :(

Anyway, he'll need time to gain the support of Juve's fans after scoring against us this season and celebrating so damn wildly.

this is good..:

New Juventus signing Jonathan Zebina has revealed he snubbed Chelsea, Liverpool and Milan to sign for the Turin giants.
The French international has signed a five-year deal at Stadio Delle Alpi after seeing out his contract at Roma.

Liverpool and Milan had held a long-term interest in the versatile defender, but Juve moved quickly to snap him up on a free transfer.

"Things went very fast, the first contact with Juventus happened three days ago," Zebina told L'Equipe.

"It showed they really wanted me. With AC Milan discussions started three months ago but then everything stopped.

"With Roma there was never any opportunity to get a contract extension, the club is experiencing financial difficulties.

"I was also contacted by Chelsea and Liverpool but I could not accept."

Zebina is looking forward to the challenge at Juve as he looks to help them bounce back from a disappointing season this term.

"Juventus represents an exceptional challenge for me," he continued.

"I change club, management and mentality also. This club has a real culture of victory.

"In Rome we've had extraordinary players, we became Italian champions which was an exceptional moment in my career but I am still frustrated.

"I think we could have won more trophies and I hope I will with Juventus."

Exactly! Zebina is a good signing! He's not Mexes, Ferrari, or Lucio like everybody wants, but he'll add some needed pace to the defence and at 25 he's our youngest defender. He's better than Iuliano, Montero, and this season's Legrottaglie for sure, so doesn't that make him a relatively good signing? I think so.
    right!
