zalayeta's contracts expires this summer , so it is very lucky that moggi will sell him before the summer , will use as a pawn or extend his contract (I doubt about this one).
How do you rate zalayeta 's work for juve for all these years ??

I would say mixed - give us some unforgetable moments(like the one in Nou camp) coupled with some lucklustre performances.

Zalayeta was excellent. He got very little playing time, but he never moaned and scored goals whenever he was on the pitch. If he leaves I will miss him.

same here. I don't think he has the quality to be a full time juve striker, but as a part-time joker, he rocks. Especially against spainsh teams.

He deserves to leave, and play a major role in a smaller club.
But if he wants to stay, I say :agree:

Hopefully. It's doing neither him nor us any good if he's just wasting away on the bench, we can only hope he returns a better player.

Zalayeta deserves more than being 5th striker at Juve but if he is content with that role and willing to stay then we should definitely keep him. Having someone as good as Zala as your 5th striker ensures that you can go far in all competitions regardless of a possible injury crisis. if Zala wants to move on then I completely understand and wish him the best.

    Forza Zala!

I feel that the whole issue is on Zalayeta himself on whether he wants to get 1st team football or being a super sbu on the bench. I wouldn't mind him moving at all, after all his services in Juve in which he helped us slay Spanish clubs in the CL.

    Zalayeta Heading Towards Livorno

The Juventus striker wants more playing time on the field and with the arrivals of new players, the Uruguay attacker will find it more difficult to find space in the Bianconeri's first eleven next season.

Marcelo Zalayeta is searching for a new team who can guarantee him first team football and this would seem the case with Livorno who are searching for a new striker to replace Cristiano Lucarelli in case that the Amaranti's captain leaves the club this summer.

Juventus are ready to accept the Tuscan club's offer for their striker, where Zalayeta would join Livorno on loan for a season.

Apparently it was the same President Spinelli who made the request to sign the player as he is a keen admirer of the striker's qualities.

Zalayeta did not feature much in Juventus this season, despite playing in Serie B, however the Uruguay attacker still managed to score a few important goals for the Old Lady on their way back to Serie A.

Catania are also interested in signing Zalayeta, but Livorno are currently in the driver's seat.

Because we dont need anymore cash...:pumpkin:
    Kovac,Zala,Tudor,Boji (Gianni too? ) out ==== 0 $$$$ in
and we will sell for ridiculous amounts Camo,Treze and Balza...(possibly Legro+Kapo+Blasi+youngsters)

If Moggi was selling/trading all those players he could bring in Lampard,Huntelaar and Milito without using any more cash...
