My first computor.....a Tulip...dont kno who made it, but it was ancient, my dad brought it back for me in about 1990...ancient then, but he showed me the basics.

where is this world going?

dads used to teach sons how to hunt and to survive and now they are teaching them how to use a pc.

i rember my dad trying to teach me how to format a text in word 97. tough stuff

young wipersnappers...pesky kids...take your pick...years of Hanna Barbera cartoons (whan they were new) when I was a toddler have sure taken there toll:D...you young varmit:devil:

Zapped into some documentary about space travel the other day - they had computers in the '60s the size of houses with less power than a modern pocket calculator :eek:

Doesn't the Space Shuttle have similar computing power to a 486?

I had a Commodore 64, followed by a 286, then a 133MHz jobbie (a Pentium I think), and now I've a 1.6GHz machine. P3 or P4, I never take any notice. :)

    Yup. Sure as hell doesn't run on Windows though :D
