Big dogs will always be that little bit tougher to care for, need more running and food. I'd prefer a bigger dog to the terrier I've got only my apartment wouldn't be big enough for one.

I guess it all comes down to how much time you will dedicate to the dog?

Lets just say that the running, feeding, size and dedication wont be a problem. Will I still find it hart to own a rott? I know they are smart and inteligent dogs, so I cant figure it out why would it be harder to own a rott instead of german sheperd for istance.
