Thanks, Klin & Bezares! I like cats too. Years ago I had one of each and they got on great, but my last two dogs have been 'rescue' ones, so I didn't tempt fate.

As it is there are too many cats in our area and the one next door teases Jake. If she hasn't seen him for a while, she jumps up onto our window to look for him! Once she actually came in the back door and drank out of his water bowl! He was not amused by her cheek!
