It's very interesting actually. He says this on a tv show. The people complaining about this think the way they did 1400 years ago. There has been no evolution. But suddenly they find themselves in front of a tv. They cannot grasp this. Who knows what will happen when you keep confronting them with modern day life?
I don't get it either but in the end I'll look like I'm just trolling. I just don't the whole idea of punishment at all. But I think you should stop arguing, they might start using flamethrowers because of your ideas.

i know i should'nt post this specially that no matter what i do u will never understand but i will give this a try may be just may be u understand this time. it has to be noted i have been warned before hand that it might not even work with u seven but here is hoping it does:

Islam
Main article: Zina (Arabic)
Under Muslim law, adultery (extramarital sex in general) is sexual intercourse by a person (whether man or woman) with someone to whom they are not married. Adultery is a violation of the marital contract and one of the major sins and is condemned by God in the Qur'an. Zina means consensual premarital sex.

Qur'anic verses prohibiting adultery include:

"Do not go near to adultery. Surely it is a shameful deed and evil, opening roads (to other evils)" (Quran 17:32).
"Say, 'Verily, my Lord has prohibited the shameful deeds, be it open or secret, sins and trespasses against the truth and reason"' (Quran 7:33).
"Women impure are for men impure, and men impure are for women impure and women of purity are for men of purity, and men of purity are for women of purity." (Quran 24:26)
Though strict Muslim law prescribes severe punishments for extramarital sex, by both men and women (premarital sex is punishable with up to 100 lashes, while adultery is punishable by stoning), to obtain conviction of zina [consensual premarital sex], the act of sexual penetration must be attested by at least four male Muslim witnesses of good character, with the accused having a right to testify and their testimony given the most weight in the eyes of the judge(s). Also, punishments are reserved to the legal authorities and false accusations are to be punished severely.[24][25] It has been said that these legal procedural requirements were instituted to make it impossible to obtain conviction.[26] (It should be noted that the above punishment of stoning is never given in the Quran but only in the Hadith. The only punishment for adultery given in the Quran is one hundred lashes and restriction of future marriage to another adulterer or the partner in the act).

this is part of my religion, and when u become a muslim u have to accept them or else u r free not to become a muslim. to make it easier for u, u have to respect the law in belgium no matter how retarded it may sound too u, if u dont u can always move some where, where the law suits u.

Don't hide behind Islam. YOU make moral choices. Not Islam. Yes, Islam might say you have to stone someone. But do YOU think stoning is right? Does it feel right when you stone someone? Really? Does it?

Is it true that Music is evil in Islam ? The one thing I love and work for, spending countless hours of studying scores and composing them.

There are muslims who think it is, but as far as I know they are vastly outnumbered. Islam's dislike for statues and paintings is just as bad though.
There's a Catholic element to that too: part of the split between the Roman Catholics and the Orthodox church involves how religious icons are considered.

Walking out, no. Stoning? C'mon, get a fucking divorce.
    100%

In the article people want to see a guy go to jail because he bragged about his sex life. Anything is possible it seems.
This is sad really. I watch this Lebanese program every week and there's nothing bad at all about it. If anything, it's waking people up from doing horrible and costly mistakes, it's very helpful this tv show.

I don't get it, if you think this show is against your religion why watch it??

Rab in this region you know how it is taken.
While you may have a point, but that guy shows no remorse. Maybe if he caught a virus and is telling the community not to follow his footsteps it would make a difference.

But if you saw it, the guy is showing sex toys in the bedroom, how he roams around while his phone's bluetooth is on displaying his name and number.. lame stuff really.

I'm not the one who suggests people should be stoned to death.
