Your South American prodigy is Thiago Neves! That kid kicks ass! Did any of you guys watch the Copa Libertadores? I dont know if Copa Libertadores shows in Europe but this kid plays for Fluminese and he scored a hat-trick in the final. He is one of the most popular Brazilian talents at the moment. If i was Secco he would be my number one target!

Here are some videos-

Firstly we need none else in the defence. Even now that Andrante is again injured we have 4 dc (Legrotalie, Chiellini, Melberg, Knezevic) so 4 defenders for 2 positions is enough and i don't think we need someone else.

Now for Poulsen i should say i am all against him. He is not young, he is an average player, he has no creaivity. I just feel there are many better players in his position we can but. On the other hand, i hear about "Poulsen to juve" for 4 days and nothing is official yet, so i feel that seco has a big surprise for us. I think that as poulsen's transfer is not official ww may see someone else here.

But if Poulsen's transfer becomes official, then alonso is not coming for sure...

Alonso Isn't Coming, Says Sissoko
Mohamed Sissoko revealed that he had a chat with his ex Liverpool teammate Xabi Alonso recently, during which the Spaniard suggested that he has no plans to join him at Juventus.
»Comments Print This Story Send To A Friend Contact Us galleria zoom Alonso looked a good bet to leave Anfield after the end of the season, but the two clubs' inability to agree a transfer fee combined with the Bianconeri's subsequent purchase of Danish midfielder Christian Poulsen means that the probability of a deal now taking place has become decidedly low.

Sissoko, who shined at Juve following his departure from Liverpool in January, substantiated this when Gazzetta dello Sport pressed on the continued Alonso sitauation.

"I have talked to him," said Sissoko, "and he told me he is happy at Liverpool."

The Italian football bible also asked the Mali international whether he believes he can co-exist in the Bianconeri midfield along with Poulsen.

"We have different characteristics," he insisted. "In fact I think our styles can fit together very well, as can our qualities.

"He gets stuck in more and also scores more goals. There's no doubling up.

"Certain choices don't depend on me, but here there's space also for Poulsen."

Sissoko went on to assure the fans that there is no danger of him missing the start of the season as the injury he picked up while on international duty last month is already very close to being fully recovered.

Let's Not Underestimate Qualifying Round - Salihamidzic
Juventus midfielder Hasan Salihamidzic talked about the team's ambitions and praised its team spirit.

He may not be one of those players who can be classified as world-class, but Hasan Salihamidzic is the kind of player Juventus fans tend to cheer for: someone who fights for every inch from the first minute until the last, and who is willing to sacrifice himself to support players like Alex Del Piero and David Trezeguet to score the goals necessary to win games.

The Bosnian gave an interview in which he talked about the club's ambitions and the difficulties of getting past the Champions League preliminary round.

"The Champions League? We are Juve so we are aiming high," the former Bayern Munich midfielder said, "it will be the same way in the league, even though we know it will be very difficult. In any case, we are ready to face every competition.

"However, before talking about the Champions League we need to get past the preliminary round, we know they are always difficult matches. I remember struggling with Bayern in one of those games, and I've been told Juve almost went out against Djurgardens a few years ago. So, regardless of who we face it will be important to play very concentrated because we want to win and enter the Champions League.

"This year's squad? I like it, we are a nice group," he continued, "and this is an important factor for a team that wants to fight to win. With Amauri we now have even more quality, he's a great player and I'm sure he will do well. Me? As always I will give my best, adapting to the coach's wishes concerning the position on the pitch he wants me to play in."

Reports: Dinho Says Yes To Man City
According to the Televisiò de Catalunya and Sport.es, Ronaldinho has snubbed a move to Milan and agreed to join Manchester City.
Ronaldinho’s next destination has become something of a saga this summer, but over the last few days it had seemed almost certain that he would be joining Milan.

This morning it was reported in O Globo, the Gazzetta dello Sport and El Mundo Deportivo that the Brazilian was set to execute FIFA’s Article 17 in order to sign for Milan for a small fee, with the transfer going through within the next 48 hours.

However, in a potentially sensational turnaround, the Televisiò de Catalunya and Sport.es have claimed that Ronaldinho has snubbed Milan in order to join Manchester City.

The Blues have been consistently linked with Dinho in recent months, but it was always believed that the player never really had any intention of moving to England.

This news has reached Italy, where it is being claimed that the reports are just bogus, as the Televisiò de Catalunya and Sport.es are known to be very close to Barcelona, and are simply attempting to raise the transfer fee for when Ronaldinho does indeed join Milan.

Secco Lines Up Another Defensive Midfielder
According to Tuttosport, Juventus sporting director Alessio Secco is lining up yet another defensive midfielder in the form of Villarreal’s Marcos Senna.

The Bianconeri have all but completed the signing of Sevilla’s holding midfielder Christian Poulsen, a purchase which has angered Juve fans, who held up a banner at the summer training camp in Pinzolo, which read: “Ridiculous, you’ve signed another rubbish player: Poulsen.”

The majority of supporters feel that the club are in desperate need of a creative centre midfielder, and they have grown increasingly frustrated at the constant pursuit of defensive schemers such as Poulsen.

Tuttosport claims that Alessio Secco is now lining up a bid for yet another anchor man, in the form of Villarreal’s Marco Senna.

The 32-year-old was a revelation for Spain at Euro 2008, and Secco believes that his experience and tactical qualities can prove vital in the Champions League and Serie A.

Despite Senna’s undoubted qualities, it seems difficult to see where the veteran could possibly fit in, with so many defensive midfielders already at the club.

Calciopoli: Gea Trial Scuppered
The sport trial for the football agents' company chaired by Luciano Moggi's son, Alessandro, will not take place. The Figc prosecutor's request to extend the investigation has been denied.
»Comments Print This Story Send To A Friend Contact Us galleria zoom The Calciopoli scandal that shook the foundations of Italian football in 2006 and almost overshadowed the Azzurri's triumph at the World Cup was hailed by many as an opportunity to restore Serie A to his former splendor, by driving out of the game those who had tarnished its image.

Now, most of the protagonists have indeed been frozen out, from Luciano Moggi and ex-Figc president Franco Carraro to a number of referees, but Alessandro Moggi and Marcello Lippi's son, Davide, are still very much active in the frenzied football agents' world, even though the Gea has officially been shut down since.

They were all awaiting to face the music of the sport trial in which GEA were accused of using intimidations, in order to pressure players into signing for them. But after two years the probe is far from over, the terms have expired and the Italian Federation prosecutor Stefano Palazzi has not been granted an extension to gather more evidence.

In other words this means "no harm, no foul" for those figures who, according to the charges, had basically controlled the whole of Italian football for many years: Gea had managed to have a roster of more than 200 players and managers in its heyday.

In April, Palermo's forward Fabrizio Miccoli testified in court that he was mobbed by Luciano Moggi at Juventus. He declaired: "Once he summoned me to announce my transfer to Portsmouth had been completed. I refused the move for family reasons, and he threatened me, by saying that if I didn't move, he would have ruined my career and I could forget about the national team."

Luciano Moggi is currently serving a five-year ban, which was handed in the first wave of Calciopoli trials, that resulted in Juventus being relegated to Serie B.

Juve Make Cassano Approach
According to La Stampa, Juventus have approached Sampdoria over the possibility of obtaining a transfer option on star man Antonio Cassano.
»Comments (52) Print This Story Send To A Friend Contact Us galleria zoom Cassano is widely regarded as one of Italy’s most gifted players, but he has still yet to really fulfill his potential due to his rather ‘wild’ personality.

The 25-year-old has just recently been signed by Sampdoria on a permanent deal, having impressed hugely last season on loan from Real Madrid.

Cassano’s superb performances in the port city saw him travel to Euro 2008, and inevitable has led to the big clubs taking notice.

La Stampa says that during Sampdoria’s negotiations with Juve for Argentine midfielder Sergio Almiron, the Old Lady popped the question of the possibility of obtaining a transfer option on Cassano.

With Alessandro Del Piero set to turn 34 later this year, Juve need to start preparing for life without their inspirational captain.

Cassano has been strongly linked with a move to the Old Lady in the past, and was reportedly close to joining in the summer of 2006, until the Calciopoli crisis broke out, and the transfer inevitably collapsed.

Serie A champions Inter are also said to be very interested in the former Bari talent.
