I'm afraid Palla may move on this summer...
I don't think paladino will make it in juve to say the truth. With alex, trez, amauri and iaquinta (unless he's sold) there is simply no room for paladino. We'll probably have nedved and giovinco as our left wingers, camo and marchioni as our right wingers, its even harder next year for paladino to break through....I really think he should leave (bitter for both parties)......

Where the hell you want to find World class CM for 10 mil, if Zenit can pay 15 for Timoschuk, why cant JUVE pay 16-19 mil for Xabi. Wake up, and btw it a huge difference between Xabi and Zanetti. Milan won CL with SIMIC, Inter did well with GRESKO,so its out of question whether we need Xabi or Vargas.

Its not FM 2008, its a real transfer market
Good post my man. The market is so inflated right now that we'll have to dish out a lot of money for all good players out there. It doesn't really matter if people think it's too expensive or whatnot... we have to pay the price if we want the player.

Xabi Alonso is a player we need if we want to distribute the ball better than we have (which he will naturally do because our passing is utter crap) and if we want to succeed in the Champions League.

I don't think that Marchioni will be playing for us come next season. I am still hoping that we go for Lanus winger Diego Valeri.

Alonso On Verge Of Juve Switch

The chances of Xabi Alonso still being in a Liverpool shirt come next season have decreased dramatically judging by the latest comments emanating from Turin.

Juventus have been hot on the heels of the Spanish international as they look to strengthen the midfield ahead of their return to the Champions League and the idea is that Alonso will play alongside his old team mate Momo Sissoko to add strength and depth in the middle of the pitch.

Liverpool have always insisted -at least publicly- that they plan to hang on to the highly rated midfielder, but the player's agent Inaki Ibanez now suggests otherwise.

"I have a clear idea, namely Liverpool would like to sell. But we must first speak with Rafa Benitez," he told local reporters as he left a meeting with the Bianconeri brass at the club's headquarters.

"We'll decide after the European Championships," the agent added.

Juve president Giovanni Cobolli Gigli was slightly less boisterous in his latest statement, but still suggested that a move is in the cards.

"We can't deny that we're interested, but there's always the problem of getting value for money," he said.

"Managing director Jean-Claude Blanc is working on this and on other possibilities."

Molby: Xabi Is Irreplaceable

When Alonso first burst onto the scene at Anfield in 2004, the comparisons between he and Molby were almost instantaneous; team-mate John Arne Riise is on the record as saying the former Real Sociedad man did not miss a single pass until the 40th minute of his debut.

The Spain international looked set to become a Liverpool legend, establishing himself in a talent-crowded midfield alongside Steven Gerrard, Dietmar Hamann and Momo Sissoko.

The latter two have since moved on as Javier Mascherano has risen to prominence following his controversial move from West Ham, and Alonso’s place is now under threat as the Reds prepare to swoop for Aston Villa’s Gareth Barry.

The 26-year-old is looking increasing likely to follow Sissoko to Juventus, and reports suggest negotiations are already well underway to take the Basque playmaker to Turin for ₤16 million.

But Molby believes Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez would be making a huge mistake if he let Alonso leave Merseyside, insisting players of his quality and style are almost impossible to replace.

Once In A Lifetime

"They're once in a lifetime, players who can play, players who can dominate games like he can," said the former Denmark midfielder.

"There are always players at every football club you're so reluctant to see leave and I think Xabi falls into that category.

"We don't really want him to leave
but maybe it makes sense if the fee that has been bandied about is the correct fee from Juventus."

CRAP CRAP CRAP!!!!
