ranieri would not play with a playmaker am 99.99% sure of that. He's in love with 4-4-2 formation. So giovinco is definetley gonna play as a left winger and alonso in the midle. Alonso won't take gio's position at all, if there is a player that would take giovinco's position then he must be a winger.....

I just cant see how Alonso's coming jeopardises Giovinco's position.
gio will be playing a roaming left wing role imo. Its still a problem though that no matter where we look, It is just extremely difficult to ever find a LW like Pav...who contibutes exptionally to attack and defence
