It is a mental problem(neurological disorder),which main manifestation are uncontroled movements and thoughts(TICS),which means that he can't stop himself to do or say something if it is no moment for that.
I had a chance to see a patient who has such problem(Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder) and it is pretty much nasty.
There are also some other manifestations such is autism.....
And the interesting thing is that the condition is much more common in boys than in girls.

Please...Howard was solid for parts of last season and while he did make some mistakes it was not because of tourettes. Thats just ridiculous. And Man United did not win any trophies last year because they were a piss poor team and Rio failed to take a drug test like the idiot he is..
