Immobile is making a great case to come back. I have to admit to not being a huge fan of him but his form this season has been excellent.

I would agree about him not being a starter but could be a useful guy for the bench.
I think it is too early to state whether form is temporary with him, he has an impressive scoring record in the Primavera, Pescara, Torino and at U21. Only at Genoa did it go badly but it was his first in Serie A, the manager changed and he did start the season well.
Time will tell with him, but I think it may be worth giving him a chance if we are looking to change our backups.

We need speed in attack. Wingers or a fast forward are a must. Osvaldo will fill the gap for another 2.5 years the most, is he worth 20m imho - NO! I want to see Berrardi here and being given some game time. Why all the big talk about youngsters when our squad is good enough for 2-3 years at most? We have very few players around the first team on a small salary and a 5 year contract - so far the policy is a bit 'we'll see on the way'.

I like the fact we have a kid and the sky is the limit for him, I like and trust our coach to improve him and I do believe this is the shortest way for us as a team towards the top. That's conveniently done, although you could consider a case wherein:
Tevez=Tevez
Llorente = Llorente
Vucinic > Osvaldo
Gio < Berardi
Quag > Immobile (in the long run, you could make a case for one player having a higher ceiling than the other, but for right now, I'd go with the experience)
In the unlikely scenario that this eventuality is realized. There are two things we need to consider.
A) The change in formation.
B) Experience vs Youth for the bench roles.
For a youngster to break in and thereby breakthrough the Juve first team system, you're going to need a lot of luck. That apart, I can't see us blood more than one youngster when competing across three fronts. It's going to be between Berardi and Immobile/Gabbiadini, not both. And, I'd much rather have the experience of a Quagliarella type player off the bench, than a player who may or may not adapt to the pressure of a big club or simply may not get the relevant minutes. The 4th and 5th striker roles may not be consequential talking points, but I'd much rather they be filled by reliable squad players than those who need to be learning and growing with some game time which they may not get at a club with such high ambitions. It is also perhaps, the more balanced approach for both, club and player alike.
You're assuming Vucinic would stay. It's unlikely. He was pretty unhappy before Osvaldo arrived, and I don't see his job get any easier, especially under a coach like Conte - who doesn't really use subs much before the 80th minute unless in dire situations. My personal take on this is, that we should pick one youngster, and replace either Quag/Gio or Vucinic/Osvaldo with Mandzukic and Nani, contingent on a formation change.
It maybe overkill to some, but assuming we go with a rumored 433, I'd like our forward line to be something like this Tevez, Llorente, Mandzukic, Nani and Berardi.
I think Quag can offer the team much more than Immobile can under the circumstances, in a supporting role to the starters. Although, I don't want to make this about the player itself, but I think the CL is probably the last competition where a team like Juve would field more than one youngster at a time, if at all. The pressure is too high, and maybe to a lesser extent, in the serie a. In this case, you're neither giving the youngster game time to grow, and the situation can get pretty precarious, when one youngster fails, being unable to adapt at the deep end, and the only back up for them is another youngster, who may not have the experience either.

I don't think conte will sell bonucci because barzagli will soon retire or leave so the only right footed centreback is bonucci for the future. Also, I see both vucinic and quags going our unless conte like vucinic as a leftwinger, if we are going to sell quags we can afford to get immobile as a true backup to llorente.
Fortunately or unfortunately, the potential for growth is not what a title winning team would consider first up. They'd much rather somebody else do the dirty work of letting a player grow, and then head to the picking ground. Pogba is and will continue to be the exception to the rule, for a while to come.
Also, I think Vucinic is superior to Osvaldo and Quag similarly so, is a better player than Immobile in similar roles at this team. Berardi is perhaps the most interesting prospect of the bunch, and I'd say, even he should stay at his team another season before Juve draft him in.

I don't see Immobile as being anything more than average for us if we use him sparingly as a back up.
As far as Bonucci goes, i'd rather pick up another defender who's cheap and willing to stay on the bench because Bonucci is a 10-15M euro liability that we're in no position financially to leave rotting on the bench.

Sure. Though, the inexperience isn't going to help the learning curve either. Simply because potential would need game time to be realized, and that's not going to happen in bit part roles. It's probably going to a bit more imbalanced having two youngsters on the team, than maybe one, and a Quag/Gio/Vucinic as the fifth striker. Less pressure all round.
