Lamela would be interesting, but I'd imagine Spurs would want £20m for him.

Jovetic I like as a player to watch but his numbers and fitness mean we should really steer clear. I know we won't, Marotta will try for him again once his price has been whittled down to £2.50 and a Mars bar.

Fuckers so desperate to get rid of Vuci and wetting themselves over a guy who was Osvaldo's (the big useless oaf) bitch.

I like Lamela, but not as the marquee signing.

Also, stop the fucking fapping to Berardi (nowhere near ready for Juve) and the over-rated Menez (decent player, but nothing more).

Lamela + Berardi = OMFG

Berardi Tevez Llorente Lamela
Pogba Vidal
Chiellini Bonucci Barzagli Lichtsteiner
Buffon
 :howler: WTF is this shit?!

This is 4-2-4. Conte's Siena formation and post Pirlo Juve. Lamela was one of the brightest stars in Serie A when he played for Roma and Berardi is pretty much the reason Sassuolo is fighting for relegation this season. Juve need wingers and without Pirlo, id say a change of formation. At least for Champions League. Add a new left back or other wingers if you like, but this shit is probable if Pirlo doesn't renew (and if he does only for one more season). 4-2-4 can easily be changed to 4-2-3-1 if that's more reasonable for you.

Lamela and Berardi?! Id rather stick with the 3-5-2 for the rest of my life than to change formation for those two. Neither have really proved anything other than them being potentally good enough, somewhere down the line.

We should try to get Lamela on loan before anything. Sucks he cant play in Europe though.

Lamela had 15 goals and 5 assists. Thats pretty good for a winger but then again he also took free kicks. While I would love him here it would be some time before he would come into the line up.

I don't really think we need him for Europe. Our squad is strong and deep enough. It's not as if we are still in the CL :shifty:

:D You say that as if it's a good thing. Surely you meant fighting for survival under his guidance and tutelage :p

What if we dont have enough cash for that transaction ?

What if it means the transfer will only be funded by selling the likes of Pogba or Vidal ?

I believe we shall have the funds if the player is deemed good/worthy enough. Di Maria is a 30 million acquisition, not a 50-60 million transfer.

Di Maria is somewhat realistic, compared to the likes of Reus and Griezzman.

I'd sell Quag and Gio (possibly even Vucinic) to fund a Di Maria transfer.

If all else fails, and it becomes near impossible, I'd go for Lamela, but not before trying by all means necessary (that doesn't involve selling Pogba or Vidal of course) to acquire Di Maria.

My fear is wasting money on needless shitstains like Biabiany, Cerci, Diamanti, Gilardino, Osvaldo, Pazzini, and the like. These guys serve no purpose but to warm the bench, and in no way improve the starting 11.

Simple, then we do not purchase him and try. to track down a LWB for the current formation. This winger craze has gone too far.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. I believe we are in the position to buy one big player(20m+€) player a season. We have plently of depth, if anything on the only we can work on is trying to lower the average age of our strikers. I'm expecting a Di Maria or a Lamela in the summer with the likes of Vucinic and Gio being sold.

Lwb. Fine one first then you can buy one. There are no lwb, you'll just end up purchasing a makeshift wingback ( asamoah) or end up buying a lb like peluso amd in thst case would much rather keep peluso.

Perhaps we should look into Felipe. If we cant find a lwb, then we move to the next priority - we need a goalkeeper.
At this point I woudn't say we necessarily have priorities when it comes to purchases but rather additions to expand Juve's versatility tactically.

While I agree we should look for a Buffon replacement, i don't see Juve paying a large amount for an established keeper and I think we will end up seeing a youth player like Leali.

PSG is going to spend 500m in the summer on the likes of Messi, Pjanic, and Pogba. Lol what a shit. They are expected to offer 30 for Pjanic ans only 55m for Pogba. WTF if Pjanic is worth 30, Pogba is worth at least 70

We definitely don't need more CB's and CM's considering the current quality and depth in those respective positions. I'd love to see Asamoah get more game time in midfield, and most definitely advocate the purchase of a hybrid LB/LWB.

We also need a bit more tactical versatility, as we are pretty predictable going forward (especially in Europe). Hence, we require a dynamic winger or AM (Mata and Di Maria are the quality names, but guys like Lamela and Nani are no slouches either). Just stay away from the names I mentioned before. Fuck Serie A experience if the player lacks the quality to actually make that jump/transition from a big fish in a small pond to a full fledged quality addition in a squad fighting for titles.
