I believe we shall have the funds if the player is deemed good/worthy enough. Di Maria is a 30 million acquisition, not a 50-60 million transfer.
Di Maria is somewhat realistic, compared to the likes of Reus and Griezzman.
I'd sell Quag and Gio (possibly even Vucinic) to fund a Di Maria transfer.
If all else fails, and it becomes near impossible, I'd go for Lamela, but not before trying by all means necessary (that doesn't involve selling Pogba or Vidal of course) to acquire Di Maria.
My fear is wasting money on needless $#@!stains like Biabiany, Cerci, Diamanti, Gilardino, Osvaldo, Pazzini, and the like. These guys serve no purpose but to warm the bench, and in no way improve the starting 11.
