He'd compete for a starting XI spot here at the very least

The amount of shit Mandzukic causes the opposition with his physicality and workrate alone would give Conte the biggest erection he's ever had.
 True, Mandžo is exactly the type of forward Conte would be fapping over.

I don't really see where Mandzukic fits. In a 4-3-3, Llorente and Tevez can play CF. In a 3-5-2, Llorente is already doing quite well leading the line. Mandzukic doesn't fit very well as a SS.

One of Mandzukic or Llorente would have to be benched. Just seems like a waste of money.

If you want to sell Llorente for 20M and bring Mandzukic then I am probably ok with that.

Exactly.

A Mandzukic purchase means he's replacing Llorente. That's the only way it makes sense. If we sign Mandzukic and he's benched it's a waste of 20M. If we sign him and bench Llorente, then we might as well sell Llorente to recoup some money.

So basically he`s stating the obvious - starting next season Lewandowski will be 1st choice, as he fits perfectly Guardiola`s plans, and Mueller and Goetze can also play in that position. They are inviting offers for Mandzukic and if the right one comes till the end of January, they are ready to sell..

Guys we won't be getting Mandzukic. He's a very good striker imo but I can't see him or Llorente being benched while we have no other SS/wingers besides Tevez who's the only one sure of staying here. Vucinic is as well as gone and I don't even count Giovinco who's useless.

We need another SS/wingers more. If we sell whole bench I expect Immobile/Gabbiadini/Borriello/Gilardino (I prefer Immobile) being his replacement.

Put in a stingy offer, say 15M

See if they accept, worth a try

Only we could afford him in Serie A really. City, United, Pool don't need him. Chelsea might just gamble on Lukaku in the Summer.

Nobody in spain will want him, out of the ones that can afford him. I doubt they'd want to sell him to Dortmund. It is worth a shot, for a cheap price.

Pool with Mandzukic and Suarez up front is scary. I'd say they'd be in on him. United and City though are probably safe bets to ignore him.

Mandzukic would fit into every Italian team at the moment. I'd never say they can't afford him. But he'd be great for Milan, Inter, Roma.

Saying stuff like 'nobody would bid for Mandzukic' makes no sense simply because he's a quality player that many clubs wish to have in their team.

There's Arsenal too.

Zenit were keen on him a while back as well but Bayern dint want to sell.

He's going to attract a fair bit of interest for sure.I agree with you though.I think Liverpool option would suit him especially if they make CL.

The point is, a whole lot of teams play with 1 up top now. And the clubs who would usually beat us to transfers have great players there already

Sure, there could be some interest from clubs I listed. But it's a lot more likely that they would stick to what they have.
There's nothing to lose if we go in with a cheap offer, and negotiate our way from there.
