That's weird considering he's known for giving it his all.

Perhaps he's starting a hissy fit knowing Lewandowski is coming for his spot?

Well that's some shitty attitude, not even trying to show how much he's worth or try to put a fight for the starting spot.

We don't need that kind of players.

Unless, as Dule says, his departure is secure. Bit it would still be unprofessional.

Considering he will be unhappy, isn't a really established name yet, and is probably being replaced by Lewa. I'd say we could get him for around that.
Look at the Gomez situation.

He's never been quick, probably has 5-6 years in him at this level. That's long term enough tbh.

Our current strikers are 28,30,30,30 and 26. I think. So if we sell gio, quag, vucinic only to bring in a 28 year old on high wages isnt exactly a great idea. I take back wanting him

Problem is, strikers in their early/mid 20's who would improve us would cost a fortune

Aguero, Suarez and the likes.

Let's not forget a deep CL run brings a LOT of cash, so one guy who had a positive impact in the CL could really pay for himself.
