Nainggolan isn't a necessity by all means. At the price he's valued at, I think I'll pass on purchasing him. Should use this window to get rid of some deadwood as there is some of that lurking in our squad for sure. If anyone is on a free worth getting come summer then that's all I expect Bepps to negotiate on.

Nani is on huge wages so I wouldn't take him at all TBH..

Bummer he signed a new contract. And he's injured for a long while due to a so called "serious hamstring injury" -Moyes.

I'd be wary of fast players who get "serious hamstring injuries", that's something that can rear it's head again and again for some time, on and off injury type.

I'm not Nani's biggest fan, anyway, but if we are really looking at that type of player then I doubt we'll get many with similar ability for a good price. Much more likely we'll try the Menez freebie, but for someone of similar talent it's hard to find change from €15m.

Chiellini is no longer himself as a CB and Bonucci we know too well about him. Barzagli is getting older.
Hope with some wingers we can play a back 4 in Europe next season.

Caceres is 26 and Ogbonna 25, that gives us good scope for the future.

Fast forward 3 years and we are left with:

Barzagli 35
Chiellini 32
Bonucci 29
Caceres 28
Ogbonna 27

In a 3-5-2 scenario: Bonucci/Ogbonna duel will continue and develop. Caceres in theory would be the first choice DRC with Barzagli filling in the 'experienced veteran' role Ferrara used to, much depends on Barzagli's fitness. Chiellini I'd imagine would be more of a stay at home DLC in the Montero role by that age. Ogbonna could also play that role as a more advancing DLC, as could Caceres.

It would leave us with probably bringing in a defender through the ranks to become the 6th option and eventual Barzagli replacement. By which time Masi would be 24, Rugani 22, etc.

I'd say we are good for 3 years without massive investment back there, but it all depends who emerges or becomes available.

Doubt we will make any significant signings. Things are going more than well in the league, and we've no CL football now to try to boost our squad for that. If this squad can't compete in Serie A and the EL then something is wrong.

Surely we'll see some kids go in and out, maybe a low budget or opportunist move.

id argue that this would be the best time for a 50/50 recruit, no pressure with time to settle in, and be ready for next year, but i doubt we have the means

marchisio is the only one that kind of makes sense, but i wouldnt sell him for another CM

would a great sub to llorente. we don't have another number 9 and with vucinic leaving i would like to see him instead of another old striker, plus he would help for that 4 home grown players in CL.
